    I stepped on my original portable air conditioner plug and broke off the ground pin. I didn't want to lose GFCI protection, so I went and bought this. I confirmed this is GFCI complaint using a stretch of 14 gauge conduit and plug ( I basically made a mini extension cord with the GFCI plug on one end and an outlet on the other ). I plugged my Klein GFCI tester in, pushed the test button, and boom! 3 ms time to power off!

    I will rest easy with this thing installed.
