Purchased this lovre system for a second time, the only thing that would be better is if the parts were metal instead of plastic. What is good about this is they work fine and you do not have to use rivits. I purchased two of these in order to build my wall which stops the wind and rain coming from the west which is almost all the time when you live a short while from the lake.

    Well if you looking sn easy and convenient way to finish of the top of your privacy fence or any fence I guess, this is a great way to get it done. It actually louvers and it's easy. We are very happy with the purchase.
    I have five on each of my privacy screens. One bag can do two screens with 6 louvers each, I chose 5.

    While the system functions as it should, there are a couple of items I xxx

    First, the gap at the sides once installed seems rather large. The space between the mounting brackets and post is about an inch on each side. While that might not seem to be alot, once everything is mounted, it visually looks odd and unnecessary. This could be cut down to a half inch on each side.

    The screws that are supplied are too large. With exception of the bracket/mount screws, the #8 screws are simply too big. I ended up getting split boards and cracking until I started drilling pilot holes to prevent the splitting. Five sets of these at 11 boards each is ALOT of pre-drilling. #6 screws to mount the boards and actuator links would work just fine and prevent having to drill over 270 pilot holes.

    A well engineered louver system. Be prepared to file down the corners of fence planks, if you use them. They are not consistently the same 5.5 inch width. I drilled pilot holes for the swinging brackets and they need to be 90% otherwise the brackets don't sit straight in the wood frame.

Su funcionamiento está pensado para madera del tamaño como los listones de los palets, como puede verse en fotos de otras reseñas, no anchuras más pequeñas ni más grandes. Observar bien las medidas. Podrías poner cristales, siempre y cuando los recortes a la medida adecuada, le añadas un regreso de madera en cada pieza que los sujeta, y tengas broca para cristal, pues todo se sujeta por tornillos. También, con la misma, podrías poner metacrilato, que es menos pesado y más fácil de moldear. Es un producto ideal para usar en sistema de ventilación de, por ejemplo, un gallinero, un invernadero, una caseta de madera....y versátil para hacer diferentes aberturas pequeñas en éstos lugares, sabiendo que cada listón necesita una pieza de sujeción a cada lado, podrías, por ejemplo, hacer pequeñas aberturas de ventilación, sabiendo que cada listón necesita una pieza a cada lado, y contando las piezas que vienen en el producto. Si cierre o abertura es por empuje: empujas hacia dentro o fuera al listón, y éste empuja al siguiente. Si te lo sabes montar, es versátil!!!!
