Nutiva Organic Coconut Oil with Butter combines all of the goodness of Nutiva Organic Refined Coconut Oil with a delicious buttery flavor for a nourishing and versatile oil rich in lauric acid and MCTs. Unlike other oils on the market, Nutiva’s coconut oil is extracted and refined using steam instead of hexane or other dangerous chemicals. At Nutiva, we start with organic, non-GMO Southeast Asian coconuts, sustainably harvested, dried, chopped, and steam processed to naturally extract the pure coconut oil. This high quality oil is then blended with our vegan butter flavor made from pure, certified organic, non-GMO plants including sunflower, coconut, and mint for a rich, creamy, and satisfyingly guilt-free spread, just right for low to medium heat sautéing, baking, popcorn, or simply spreading on a piece of bread.     Switched from canola oil to this for our popcorn machine and absolutely love it! The buttery taste is good without being too overpowering or tasting fake. The price on 鶹 for the large jar is about the same as for the small one in grocery stores so can't go wrong. I've ordered 3 so far and only one came damaged, but it was during the heat of the summer and it melted and popped the seal, 鶹 issued a refund without any questions. Best oil option for popcorn in my opinion.

I found best to use at low- med heat for keeping the richness. Baking- use ¾ of the recipe’s indicated amount of butter, replace the remaining ¼ with water.
    - I melt it, then whip it with a hand whisk, when it solidifies, it it less hard. Store at room temp, out of light. I tried to like it , but it has a aftertaste of artificial flavour. Its too rich- says my brain, with a sweet note. In soups etc- butter flavour is lost- unless lot is added. For me it's solely used for topping, limiting its uses. Good product though. Enjoy the golden glow on your popcorn.

    This taste pretty darn close to butter on popcorn. I’m going through the process of gradually becoming vegan so I’m trying different products to see which ones I like or don’t like. I love popcorn but unfortunately microwave popcorn is not only not good for you but it contains palm oil and it’s also expensive. I’m very pleased with the Cuisinart air popper I just purchased from 鶹 and I did a lot of research and found that this Nutiva Organic Coconut Oil seemed to be the most popular choice for melting on popcorn. Most people, like myself, love butter but at the same time it’s just not good for you at all. So what I did was I began using half butter and half of this coconut oil and gradually using less and less butter, and now I’m ready to use no butter at all. I never expected to like any butter alternative but I have to admit but I do like this brand of coconut oil on my popcorn. I haven’t yet tried it on anything else but popcorn. I’m very pleased with it and would very much recommend it!
