Unlike other oils on the market, Nutiva’s coconut oil is extracted and refined using steam instead of hexane or other dangerous chemicals. At Nutiva, we start with organic, non-GMO Southeast Asian coconuts, sustainably harvested, dried, chopped, and steam processed to naturally extract the pure coconut oil. This high quality oil is then blended with our vegan butter flavor made from pure, certified organic, non-GMO plants including sunflower, coconut, and mint for a rich, creamy, and satisfyingly guilt-free spread, just right for low to medium heat sautéing, baking, popcorn, or simply spreading on a piece of bread.
