    This is a great alternative for women who are pregnant. Doctors recommend women to take Folic Acid while pregnant - but folic acid is synthetic. Our bodies cannot digest folic acid properly.

    Methyl Folate is the more active and natural form of folate.

    Folic acid is the synthetic form of folate and is well known as B9 in the market.

    The forms of folate in the supplement market are not all the same.

    Folic acid must go through a 4-step enzyme transformation process to be activated in the biological forms.

    Methyl Folate is The Biological Form already.

    If you don't know why it is important, read something about it, or talk to your physician.

    I heard Quatrefolic is the best version of 5-MTHF out there. Can't really tell the difference, but since this product is such a great value it's hard to go wrong. Plus, it has a four-leaf clover logo on the bottle - just like an Alfa Romeo... easily adds 180 horsepower to your methylation cycle.
