    I purchased this battery collection bin for home use, specifically to store dead batteries. Previously, we kept them in a cardboard box, but I wanted something that was more organized and visually appealing. This bin was exactly what we needed!

    The size is perfect for our household—it’s large enough to hold a variety of battery types, from AA to larger ones, and can easily store the batteries we've accumulated over time. The design is simple yet effective, and it’s clear at a glance that it’s meant for recycling, which helps keep everything organized. The hole at the top makes it super convenient to just drop the used batteries in without having to fuss with opening or closing any lids.

    I also appreciate that the bin is made from durable materials in CANADA, which gives me peace of mind knowing that it will keep the batteries secure and that there’s little risk of any leakage or damage. The handle is a nice touch, making it easy to transport the bin to the recycling center when it's full. It’s not bulky or heavy, so storing it in a closet or under the sink is no problem at all.

    I highly recommend this bin if you’re looking for a better, more organized solution for your dead batteries!

    Batteries are well-known to leech toxic chemicals and heavy metals if they’re thrown in the garbage, so I’ve made a point for several years to bring my batteries to the local hazardous waste depot for proper disposal and recycling.

    Up until now, I’ve kept used batteries in a Ziploc bag. It gets the job done, but it isn’t clear to anyone outside my family what we’re doing with our baggie of batteries.

    I like that it’s clearly marked as a bin for recycling, and the hole in the top is extra convenient for tossing in used batteries. It’s also very large, so it will hold any size battery until my once- or twice-a-year trip to the hazardous waste drop off.

    This container is perfect for storing old warn out batteries, nothing major you can just drop them in from the top and keep them stored for disposal later, I haven't had any batteries leak or damaged and the container is quite large, not heavy and comes with a nice handle to carry around, the hole on top allows easy drop/insertion of used batteries, its definitely useful to have around especially if your like us and have many devices that use batteries. Very happy with this purchase.

    This is such a great thing to have in the house. With 2 kids we use a ton of batteries. I hate the negative environmental impact of that so I always save them to put out by the curb on the 1 or 2 times a year our city collects them, or take them to Staples to recycle. But a year's worth of batteries takes up a lot of space and gets really heavy. This bucket makes it easy. I put it in the closet right beside the new batteries, so as I take them out they go right in the bin. The bin itself is very sturdy and has a handle to carry it to the recycling centre easily. I'm so happy with it!

    I'm glad this exists, because I know I don't dispose of batteries properly. Long story short, this is a compost bin with a hole in the top that is meant for your batteries. If you have a similar looking compost bin, you know the story. Decent heft without being too heavy, solid plastic. For the price this is as good as it gets, and I am glad I have a receptacle for batteries.

    This Battery Collection Bin is just what we needed! It is as described and is great to have to store our used batteries in until we are ready to drop them off at a battery collection location. Usually the just sit in a little baggy or box but this is great to have now as a designated bin for us to put our used batteries in until we have the chance to drop them off. Recommended!

    This is a very well made bin. I do not have a specific place to store all the used up batteries so just dump them into an old container and when filled up, will take them to the recycling depot.

    With this bin, I now have a specific place for all the used up batteries and I can take them to entire container to the recycling depot to dump the batteries 👍

    This battery collection bin is very useful to store old batteries in between disposals. The 8 litre capacity is very generous, and I love the cut out lid for easy depositing. I thought it would be good to have around the house, since we have battery collection twice a year with our waste collection, but it is quite large. Took it to the office, however, and it is already a quarter full! Very useful overall and a thoughtful way of collecting batteries for responsible disposal.
