a very basic card shuffler that works as desired. Removing the hand crank from its nesting place was extremely difficult (it is plastic and I did not want to break anything) so we did not return it for storage. Once we got it out we just leave it attached.

I use this device for Magic cards, and it's fantastic for avoiding jams without risking damage to your cards.
🃏 The key is to find the optimal speed—not too fast, not too slow.
🃏 Upon receiving it, I cleaned the sorting wheels with rubbing alcohol and a cotton pad, which noticeably improved card grip (likely due to factory dust).
🃏 Occasionally, the right side may struggle to grab cards. Simply lifting and dropping that side helps cards sort and lay flat, ensuring they're angled correctly for the wheels to grab them. Your mileage may vary.
🃏 It's best to use the device on an even surface.
🃏 While perfect shuffles aren't guaranteed every time, it still outperforms manual shuffling in speed and quality. Achieving a flawless shuffle feels like a satisfying mini-game before the main event.

Das Kartenmischgerät wurde gestern bestellt, sollte am Montag eintreffen, kam nun aber heute schon an - erstaunlich schnell - auch ohne Prime ;-)

Ich habe mich gegen ein elektrisches Gerät entschieden, weil einerseits die Mechanik in den Kommentaren oft reklamiert wurde, andererseits benutzen wir das Kartenmischgerät nur privat hin und wieder mal.

Ich bin begeistert wie fix dieses hier mit Kurbel einsatzbereit ist und wie gut es funktioniert. Auch wenn man die Karten mindestens 2 Mal einlegen muss, um wirklich gut durchgemischt zu sein - aber das ist überhaupt kein negativer Punkt - das Mischen dauert Sekunden und da kann es gern auch ein drittes Mal sein - selbst dann ist immer noch schneller durchgemischt, als wenn man es per Hand macht.

Hatte in den Kommentaren gelesen, dass es eine entsprechende Lautstärke haben soll, während man mischt oder auch die Karten exakt eingelegt werden müssen, dass alles funktioniert... Kann ich alles nicht bestätigen. Die Karten wurden von mir ganz normal eingelegt und es funktionierte flüssig und sehr schnell... Als laut empfinde ich den Mischvorgang ebenso nicht.
