Ordered double kit to have spares when the fittings eventually get damaged. So far, all is well bleeding a master cylinder if ‘76 VW bus and ‘71 Mercedes that should be M10 x 1.5 pitch. The four tubes are necessary because the Mercedes has front left, front right, and rear (3) to run back into reservoir. Works well for me.

This brake bleeding kit is excellent for when you need to bleed the air out of a brake or clutch master cylinder. I have used this a few times in the last month to help friends replace failed brake master cylinders. Most people skip the step of bench bleeding the master cylinders when they are newly installed. This is a critical tool that every mechanic needs in their toolbox. This set contains so many adapters that I didn't have any trouble locating the proper thread pitch for my application. You definitely need to ensure the fittings are tight so that they don't leak. This kit is very affordable and nicer than you can find locally. I recommend this kit and look forward to having it for a long time.

I do lots of brake jobs and always need a different connector for the wheel cylinder or calipers and then also for bleeding the master cylinder. This set has an assortment of connectors to fit most situations. It also includes some hoses and clips to hold the hoses in place so they don't flop around an squirt brake fluid all over the place. It's not a top quality set but for the price it is worth it to make your job go easier, faster and cleaner.

So between the red fitting and black fittings there is a huge difference in quality of manufacture. The red fitting nearly all need exacto knife clean up both on the threaded area and on the hose barb side. As seen in the pictures you will need to thread chase the reds and clean up the barbs so yiu done cut into the hose or have a piece break off and get into your fluid system.

Other than the red injection molds not being very clean there are a ton of fittings and will be extremely usefull for bleeding master cylinders on many applications. You get 4 hoses and t clamp fittings comes with a roll of teflon tape. Is the kit perfect? Not by a long shot but for the price its decent and after a bit of clean up work on the red fittings it will work just fine.
