Game changer, I tried the diva cup and decided that I would try it again well instead I found nixit and I’m so glad I did. My period has been so easy this time around. Only having to take the disk out and clean it 2-3 times per day is amazing, this was my first time using it and I got it in correct on the first try. Would definitely recommend to anyone that asks. Cup came with a cute storage bag.

    switched from a cup as the suction was hurting my cervix. the disc is easy to insert and comfortable while in, and i haven’t had any leaks. it’s a bit messy to remove, but it’s not an issue as i can autodump through the day and only change it out twice a day in the shower.

    I have used menstrual cups for years and think they’re great. I wanted to try the Nixit for awhile now after seeing their great ads. I’ve used it for 2 cycles now and haven’t been able to use it without some kind of liner. It stays somewhat in place but shifts with movement like standing up or sneezing and causes a mess. I’m constantly needing to readjust it after using the bathroom or moving. I read forums, watched videos, tried so many different ways to put it in an have it stay. Had a Lunette before and going to go back to that.

    This is a great product except for the fact that it is MUCH WIDER than my cervix, which is maybe about two-thirds of the diameter. I feel like if they made a smaller size, it would be something I could use during sex, but because it sticks out in front of my actual cervix by about 30%, I tried putting a dildo in and it kept getting caught on the front rim, which caused it to bend in an uncomfortable way. It's ok for me to use as a period product in my daily life. I do find it cleaner than tampons which have a string sticking out that you pee on and then it absorbs the pee and starts to smell, which is grody. But because my cervix is high, I have a hard time reaching it to pull it out. I find have to use my thumb turned backwards in order to hook it at the front top to pull it down and out. As a result, emptying it is super messy. My hand looks like I just killed someone after. One time I also dropped it in the toilet, yuk!

    I really wanted to love this product. I was so excited to try it! I'm switching from a cup which was always leaking so I always had to wear a panty liner. With the Nixit I still get spotting because it leaks when I use the washroom and even though I clean up, the remaining bl00d comes out - so I still have to wear a panty liner. Inserting it took a couple tries but it was pretty easy, but it's SO difficult to remove! It was a ghastly mess. I think I figured out the "self emptying" style of the cup but it's still a mess.

    PROS:
    - I don't feel it at all
    - Insertion learning curve took 2-3 tries
    - Doesn't leak due to volume or activity

    CONS:
    - Leaks due to muscle movement during bathroom breaks
    - Still have to wear a panty liner
    - Very messy
    - Removal is a STEEP learning curve
    - Again, VERY messy

    As someone who never managed to find a reusable menstrual cup that stayed in place without a battle, I'm so glad to have this! Years ago I used Instead (a disposable softcup with the same shape/function) and I'm finding the operation of this to be really similar, only it's much more comfortable because of the silcone. And if you're wondering if you can REALLY have sex with it in— yes, you really can! (You could with Instead as well, but the crinkly plastic material of it was a bit of a mood-killer.)

    I always had leaks with menstrual cups and had to wear a backup liner, but so far I have only had leaks when I go to the bathroom or, once when I hadn't completely secured the disc. If it's in place it works flawlessly and is well worth the price. My only wish (which was the same for my clear divacup), is that it came in another colour. I am a pink hater, sorry. Why not black? Or red would be metal as hell!

    I don’t say this lightly — nixit is the best period product I’ve ever used. I wish I had switched years ago.

    The biggest difference is no suction. It sits behind the pubic bone instead of creating that sealed feeling traditional cups have, and that alone made it so much more comfortable for me. I genuinely forget I’m on my period when I’m wearing it.

    There is a small learning curve the first cycle (placement matters), but once you get it positioned correctly, it’s a game changer. No dryness, no string, no constant bathroom trips. I’ve worn it for long work days and workouts with zero issues.

    The material is soft and flexible but still secure. It feels way less intimidating than firmer cups.

    ’s more expensive upfront, but I would buy it again in a heartbeat. If you’re on the fence, this is your sign.

    Pros: I love the soft texture of the Nixit. I can’t feel the pressure of it inside me, even with a full bladder. That makes it more comfortable than medium/firm options like Flex, Ziggy, or the Diva cup. The softer rim is also less noticeable for others during “team activities”. This is my preferred disc now.

    All discs I’ve tried shorten my period & reduce cramps, this one included. I don’t notice a difference by brand.

    Cons:
    The softer rim requires a removal learning curve. It doesn’t “pop out” easily and instead bends under pressure. Hook the rim with a finger in a g spot motion, don’t push or try to fold it.

    I got one for a tampon-using friend & received a panicked call the first night. It took 20 mins & a demo pic for her to figure it out. Now she likes that she doesn’t need a bathroom every few work hours. I stand by this cup, but a firmer cup could be easier for newbies or those with mobility issues.

    The product is a good material, good quality, but impossible to use, I have always used light tampons, and I have a very light flow, I watched at least 50 videos of how to insert. What to do, looked at TONS of reviews did my homework, and still cannot get it to sit right. It is just to big, I have a low cervix, but after the reviews I thought for sure I could use this but it's very large. I could not insert it correctly, couldn't get it up sit correctly. I had to give up out of pure pain and frustration, I bleed very little so inserting it just hurt, I have ordered a smaller one, so fingers crossed for better success, but overall the product is very good quality and quality is great, just to big for me:(
