Best birthday gift to myself EVER
I'm obsessed with this animal crossing themed switch. It runs like a dream. I'm loving how pretty the colours are. I'm mostly a handheld gamer and don't play docked too luck, but I looove how perfect it is. edited: HAD to re-review this amazing item its currently 2023 and this beauty is still going strong. its held up through the entire pandemic. playing almost 12-14hrs a day for weeks at a time. no burn in, no charging issues. the ONLY issue i had was with joycon drift in the the right joycon, but nintendo fixed and sent back both joycons all for free. (and i even received the correct animal crossing themed joycons) mostly been playing: animal crossing, skyrim and stardew valley. the only game hard on my joycons is skyrim so ive just eased off being so rough with the buttons and sticks and the system is still going strong. i loove this switch-the best birthday gift i have ever bought for myself :)

    This is such a nice little game machine for me. We currently live in a motorhome and its been a challenge being able to use my computer sometimes. This is a great entertainment machine. I only have one game but that's all I need.

    I got this as a graduation gift for myself alongside some other games that have been on my wishlist. One of the best gift that I got myself in 2020. I am enjoying it so much.

    I was so used to the 3DS screen quality that the Switch's quality just blew me away. I'm glad that I bought the original Switch versus the Lite. My friend told me that playing some games like FE:3 Houses on the Lite is painful because of the font size. At least you can zoom on both devices so...

    The Animal Crossing edition is so lovely. I never played AC before but I can see the appeal for it now! I look forward to getting more games and well soak up in the amazing game that this console has to offer.

    Never would I thought I would get the chance to play Witcher 3 on the Switch or some of these Steam/PS4 ported games. Thank you so much Nintendo as well as the developers that are releasing ports on the Switch.

    I hope that Nintendo gets along to port/remaster Xenoblade X (never had a Wii U so...), Pokemon Platinum and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky! I would so get these games if they do so!

    I always wanted to get the Switch but waited till either Animal Crossing or Metroid comes out on Switch. So here it was, I played primarily on my PS4 and I still do but the Switch is such an awesome addition. I really love playing games in handheld the most and is something I didn't think I'd appreciate a lot.

    The battery life is pretty good lasting me about 5-6 hours with max brightness in handheld mode using a headset plugged in sometimes. I know there are people who has joycon drift, which is when the joycon stick has problems and it turns by itself causing the camera or character to move. So far I haven't had that yet, it could be since these are the new Switch version they might've done a bit of tweaking but not sure on that.

    Overall I'm very happy with the Switch, I do have issues with some stuff Nintendo does such as their Eshop, online play, etc but nothing bad to say about the actual Switch hardware itself. I'd highly recommend getting one if you move around a lot during the day (granted I'm writing this during the Covid stuff but once that's over and you start going back to the normal routine) or just want to play a game like Bioshock in your bed.

The console came on time and well packaged. We highly recommend the Nintendo Switch, as it can be a hand held game system, or a console for the T.V. very easily.
