Very Poor Condition for what you Pay
I just received my order for my new 3ds xl last night upon opening I was quite disappointed to see that the 3Ds did not match the advertised image nor was it in too good a condition. Cons - (while I was expecting minor paint chips and scuffs, The front and sides are terribly scuffed to a point I can't comprehend how it got so bad. The back also seemed to have a missing screw/broken screw hole. The top screen has a single unmovable white spec/scratch however that's a minor thing. This 3ds did not come with a stylist which is a big deal in my book. Pros - To my surprise the 3ds came connected to a clear protective cover, (although this was probably just to hide most of the external damage) . The bottom screen is clean and has no scratches at all,. The Hinges work as they should even with out the plastic cover, the 3ds itself seems to function as it should, and the 3D slider functions as it should. the 3ds also came with a charger as advertised

It's been a mighty long time since I've purchased a portable gaming system. The last portable game system I've owned was the Game Boy Advance (in purple!), and while the system amazingly still works, it's definitely very dated in comparison to today's gaming standards. The Hyrule Gold Version is simply gorgeous. The design is printed directly onto the case, it very intricately detailed, and looks absolutely stunning in person. For comparison, if you have an iPhone in gold, the coloring on the 3DS is a bit darker. The interior of the system is black. The 3D screen simply blew me away. It's amazing how advance the technology is on this system, and after testing out my first 3DS game (Legend of Zelda, Link Between Worlds) I was totally hooked. The graphics are amazing, the colors are bright and the graphics run very smoothly. The bottom touch screen is very receptive, and the front and back cameras work fantastically. The system doesn't take too long to charge, and I'm able to play for quite a long time before I'm given the indication to charge the unit. One thing I didn't like about this system is that it doesn't come with a charger, nor does the Wii U charger cable work on this unit. You WILL need to buy a designated charger.
Overall, I absolutely LOVE this gaming system and am so thrilled that I was able to get the Hyrule version. It's a beautiful system, can accommodate both game cartridges or digital downloads, and is great to carry around in my purse for on the go gaming fun. If you're a Zelda fan, this is a great system to get.

So far, all of the items are working flawlessly. The 3DS is in perfect condition with no scratches or any damage. The Monster Hunter title is awesome. Love the game and the ability to be able to do solo mode and go online when ever I want to. The USB charging cable is also working fast. I was charging the 3DS as I was playing it. The 3DS was getting a full charge before I even noticed it. One happy customer here. 5 Stars all around!!

I bought this device for my son towards the end of June. Brand new for $965 from RAVENHOLM Electrics plus tax. When it finally came on July 6, there were issues. He said in the bottom screen there was a discoloration, the type you find when you have a burn-in on your tv (you can see it above the horizontal dotted line towards the center). He said they were very apparent when playing a game with a light colored or white background in the bottom screen. There were problems with some of the buttons two. For the “c-stick” located above the x, y, a, and b buttons he said normally the c-stick would be circular shaped. The c stick was torn on its side. The circle pad was damaged as shown in the picture. He also said that someone had put screen protectors on both screen (you can see the protectors on the edge of the screen). It wouldn’t matter much if there were screen protectors on the screen but given the other issues, we questioned whether this was really brand new. Either it was new yet defective, used, or refurbished. We contacted the seller RAVENHOLM electrics, giving them these photos, and they told us to return the device if we wanted and we’ll get a refund. We send it back. BUT THAT WASN’T THE END OF IT. On July 15, we received a refund of $568. The remainder $482.50 was a RESTOCKING FEE REFUND DEDUCTION. RIDICULOUS! I contacted 鶹 Customer Support and explained them the whole thing. They said they come back to me within 7 days. They contacted me and they had not resolved my issue and instead said that they would give me a response in another 7 days. It has been almost 3 weeks and still nothing. WORD OF ADVICE: DON’T BUY SUCH A DEVICE FROM AMAZON AND ESPECIALLY DON’T BUY FROM RAVENHOLM ELECTRICS!Claudia Gomez-WalshDON’T BUY!
