Oh boy, this machine is really something. With the right recipes this machine can make any type of slushies. For the kids the usual slushies made with syrup or pop, this machine can turn out the best slushies. For adults, phenolominal cocktails. So easy to use and clean. Put all ingredients (must be liquids) into the machine, turn it on and pick what you are making. This particular machine has a choice of 5 settings. Slushie, milk shake, Frappe, spiked slushie (for cocktails) and milkshake. The machine then picks the optimum setting for thickness but if you want thicker or thinner consistency then you can over ride it. It is quiet, will beep when finished mixing and freezing, but will keep the product cold for 12 hours. The auger must remain turning at all times. To clean a quicky by just filling with warm water and pushing the rinse button will swish the water around, then push the dispenser to let it go . For a deeper clean you can put parts into the dishwasher but without the heat setting, or you will warp something. I prefer to wash by hand. Comes with a recipe book but there are many recipes on line, my favourite Pina Colada, which turns out better than ordered in a lot of establishments that serve drinks.
