Product description

WILSON PREDATOR Rat & Mouse Killer is a rodenticide designed to be used indoors to effectively kill mice and rats that are resistant to conventional products. These pellets should be placed in commercially available bait stations where there are signs of high rodent activity (such as fresh droppings), or near burrows, trails, feeding places and points of entry. Mice and rats will die within a few days of use. Please note, several bait stations may be required (bait stations sold separately).

    It works as described, but it takes a very long time to take effect. It can take up to 10-14 days after the animals have consumed the poison for the effect to occur, and in my opinion, that's unacceptable. First, the animals suffer unnecessarily, which is completely unacceptable for me, and I personally don't want to wait that long for the effect to take hold. If I hire an exterminator and they come to my place, it can take, in extreme cases, 48 hours, and there won't be a single mouse or rat in or around the house. It costs more, but the animals don't suffer, and I immediately have peace and quiet, and that lasts for months until another mouse or rat shows up on my property. With this "Predator" product, I can only achieve the same effect if I constantly have rat poison in and around the house without interruption, forcing me to constantly check and constantly buy and refill it, which then makes no difference in price. However, the additional labor required for me is considerable due to the constant checking and refilling.
    No thanks, but I won't use this product anymore. Firstly, because the animals have to suffer unnecessarily for an extended period of time, and secondly, it's no different in price than using a professional whom I call and order once every six months. The difference, however, is that when I call a professional, I don't have to worry about anything myself. One call and the problem is solved for at least six months, and no animal suffers unnecessarily.

    And I can prove that it's truly a day-long torture for the animals: Anyone can see that when the animals eat this product, their excrements turns completely blue, a deep blue color. And it stays that way for the next 1-2 weeks, because during this time, I can find new excrements every day that's also blue. This product kills far too slowly, and that's why this product is completely unacceptable (for me).

    I was in our basement getting ready to do laundry. I reached into the hamper to pull out the clothes and there it was comfortably laying on my sweater. We both freaked-out; it ran and so did I, right up the stairs. I was concerned as mice can carry bacteria and viruses that can make us very sick. Although I always try not to harm living creatures, I knew this one had to go. The exterminator option was very expensive, I didn’t want to see a mangled mouse and have to handle/dispose of traps, so I opted for the Mouse & Rat Pellets – Wilson Predators. I wore gloves and distributed the bags with the pellets in different areas of the basement, especially where I could see mice droppings. The bags with the pellets must be put in dry places, if damp, the pellets will become mushy. You must also make sure the rodents don’t have other food sources in the house. Put in jars and sealed containers any food they could get into. For the pellets to work, they must exclusively eat them; nothing else. A day later I found the mouse dead at the bottom of the staircase. It had eaten more than half the pellets in one bag. I put gloves on, placed the mouse in a bag, sealed it and disposed of it in the garbage. With gloves still on, mask and windows opened, I then washed the basement floor and anything else the mouse could have been in contact with including my hamper and all the clothes in it. Don’t take any chances. Any surface where droppings are seen can be contaminated and the particles released in the air can make you very sick. Also, the pellets are not a poison but from what I understand, they dehydrate the rodents until they go into a coma and die. Kids and pets have a funny way of getting into things. Be proactive for their safety. I sincerely hope never to have to kill another living thing but if a rodent moves into my home again, I will use this product.
