A clean roll of nickel strip. It’s flexible and easy to cut with a pair of scissors (if you need). The 0.15mm thickness is a common thickness to spot weld on batteries. The spot weld points are strong and holds well on the battery surface. If you’re into repairing your electronics or looking to create your own battery packs, then the nickel strip is perfect for your needs. At the time of this review, the nickel strip was priced at $10.69.

    I like this nickel-plated strip!

    The width and material thickness is exactly what you need for spot welding multiple batteries together to form do-it-yourself battery packs. I think the thickness and conductivity specs lends itself to high current, low-voltage DC applications.

    In my testing, I needed to use the highest setting with my portable spot welder (as expected) but it worked perfectly and the metal strips seem very strong and sturdy once welded in place.

    A side note: The coiled strip behaves like spring steel. The moment you unleash it from it's taped prison it will freak out and go EVERYWHERE unless you carefully dole out the length you need and put it back into a plastic bag (or container, if you like). Don't release it and expect good behaviour. You will be disappointed.

    Solution contaminated with RUST !
    Update: Some small parts that were Plated using this product, started to rust 10 days after the process. The 2 rolls purchased have since gone into the garbage and the plated steel parts must be redone. Claims of being PURE are not true. And of course, I missed the Refund Eligibility time frame. You'd think a seller with any sense of professional decency would reach out. Ha ! Nope ! Just keep on selling the same shit with the same false claims with no consequences.
