The moisture tester adapts to your workflow—whether you’re in a noisy construction site or a quiet home.

  • Moisture meter insert Type-C for Pin Mode (direct measure). Without Type-C probe, press 'REL' for Scan Mode (calibrate≥50cm from objects). Must recalibrate when switching to Scan Mode or device disables

  • Both issues often stem from improper calibration. If the probe touches objects during calibration, it stores wrong baselines. Inductive mode shows relative trends (not absolute values). Recalibrate correctly, then compare multiple points

  • Moisture meter measures absorbed moisture via dielectric changes in materials, not surface water molecules. It can't detect unabsorbed water on surfaces. For accurate results, only measure fully absorbed moisture in materials.

  • 1.Measure >10cm from edges.

    2.Ensure material ≥5mm thick.

    3.Hold vertically, press firmly.

    4.Measure metal: Keep ≥5cm away. Fingers off sensor area.

    5.Ground yourself before measuring dry wood (<10% MC). Use anti-static spray in low-humidity areas.

  • 1.Push pins deep into the material for full contact.

    2.Measure >5 cm from any cut edge.

    3.Always measure ACROSS the grain (never parallel or along rings).
