I get occasional cold sores for whatever reason. I read years ago lysine can help with the recurrence of coldsores and have been taking them ever since. I take them mainly alongside my triggers as a proactive idea to stop them. In my case alcohol consumption, fatigue and stress. Recommend for sure.

    Got this in the beginning of August after an embarrassing flare up at a festival. Forgot to bring these with me on a recent weekend trip that was a lot of sun and stress which to my horror caused my second flare up this summer. I noticed a huge cold sore forming in the very middle of my top lip. So took two of these a day and also used zilactin as soon as i noticed a bump and wow… it’s only been two days and the blister never even fully formed. It has barely been noticeable!!!!!! Without this it would have been an absolute nightmare. Not sure how well this will work in reducing flare ups long terms but I am very impressed with how manageable it makes them!
    update: was gone by day three. can’t believe it, what a game changer!
