    Years ago I had a turtlebar in a bakery that had this exceptional kick in the chocolate/pecan combo - it was salt with sugar which I might have gagged had I known. SWEET & SALTY granola bars of ANY combo ( they keep adding, yay!) even just S&S peanut has executed this scrumptious combination perfectly. I can't attest to the nutritional value with the "granola" ingredient unless you want to fool yourself beyond enjoying a delicious snack!
    NOTE: cost wise the packs of 6 or 15 make sense, the big boxes of 36 don't! (seriously!)

    I eat a lot of these Nature Valley Sweet and Salty bars as part of my morning rush, and sometimes for a snack during the day, since getting regular meal times is often hard due to work schedules. My favorites are the Peanut bars, but I do love Salted Caramel, so tried this box. While the taste is good, it's not as good as I had hoped.

    There's no distinct salted caramel flavour to the bars, and the chocolate overwhelms the bar taste, unfortunately. Now, I like chocolate, but I find the chocolate pieces in these bars just a bit too overbearing for the rest of the bar's ingredients. Does this mean I won't buy these again? Nope! I still like a little variety in my Sweet and Salty bars every now and again, but I must admit to being disappointed in these Salted Caramel with Chocolate bars! Back to the Peanut bars...

    The moment you open the package, your nose is hit with a huge blast of salted caramel scent, you know what I’m talking about, that creamy salted caramel latte you get from Starbucks, and then when you bite into it, it’s the perfect mix between caramel flavour and the scent of peanuts, with a little more crunch from the chocolate and peanut pieces, and just salty enough to counter the sweetness of the sugar. Oh man. You have never had a caramel chewy bar until you’ve tasted this. Anyone who doesn’t taste caramel in this bar needs to go taste some caramel.
