Verified PurchaseThe author states in interviews this is her most important book to date (2017). It is shocking. As a past Conservative and Thatcherite, I see so clearly the wickedness of capitalism when those at the top weald the axe or bury their heads. Sellafield was inspected annually by my GP Dr RR. I recall him going. But Robinson goes around Seĺlafield and the leakage and shocking ecological threat to local folk and beyond. From The University of Kent, where I started my degree, where she began this masterpiece of academic research, she took it back to Omaha or Idaho and despite her Gilead, Home and Lila to come, she still sees this as her favourite. It is just shocking and has just put another nail into the coffin of modern day consumerism and greed for me, which I pray will ultimately be ready for change for all not the few. We need The Rev. John Ames from Gilead to review this not me. Ames...ironically or not, is President Obama's favourite fictitious character. READ THIS BOOK. CRITICAL READING FOR ALL WHOM REALLY CARE. John Stewart.
