Product description

Natural Factors Liposomal Vitamin C is an advanced, highly absorbable source of vitamin C that is easy to digest. Vitamin C is an essential nutrient and well-known antioxidant. It plays important roles in immune system function and collagen formation, making this vitamin critical to wound repair and maintaining healthy bones, cartilage, teeth, and gums. As one of the body’s main antioxidants, vitamin C helps protect tissues throughout the body against free radicals. When oxidative stress is high, such as from illness or exposure to pollutants, the body’s need for vitamin C goes up. The body can neither synthesize nor store vitamin C, so it must be replenished every day to avoid deficiency. Standard forms of vitamin C can be difficult for the body to absorb, which can limit its effectiveness. Liposomal Vitamin C eliminates this absorption problem by enclosing vitamin C within a protective phospholipid bilayer. This allows vitamin C to remain intact during digestion and ensures rapid, efficient uptake into cells and sustained release over time. Each serving provides 1000 mg of buffered vitamin C and contains no artificial preservatives, soy, or GMOs. For people who want to increase their vitamin C intake, but who might not be able to absorb regular forms, this supplement is ideal.

    These vitamin softgel capsules are stated to be high absorption, which is something that I cannot know for certain, so I just have to trust that it is the case. I do find that the capsules are on the large side. Being gelcaps, they at least have more rounded edges. That makes it slightly easier to swallow.

    I was previously just taking a good quality vitamin c supplement daily for winter months when lower quality produce is available. I switched after doing some research online which vit C was best for skin health as i am a regular cannabis smoker. After a few weeks of taking this twice a day I did not have to take it as often. I cut down to one a day and after another couple weeks I just take one every second day with noticing results in my skin tone and texture.
