To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on 鶹. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I used it already to tune my random end fed antenna, and the toroid transformer I made to match it up. for 40 meters. I have also tried it to measure the length of a run of coax. That seems to work as well. I would like to try making a loop to use this as a dip meter. I just haven't done that yet.
I have only used it to test Swr on 4 antennas and it works good, haven’t tried it on a duplexer yet. Compared its Swr readings with a rig expert as-170 and they are the same. The smith chart is good too. Little hard to see outdoors in direct sunlight but overall a great purchase for the price
This little tool has a little bit of a learning curve. But there’s plenty of videos on YouTube to help with that. Once you get it down and understand its capabilities it’s a wonderful tool. Its size is small and compact. I can read it fairly easily. For the price compared to other antenna analyzes. It’s worth every penny I’ve used it for a couple hours analyzing antenna battery life still shows close to full
Bought this a while ago, and finally got around to writing a review. I have used this countless times for my own equipment, as well as some of my friends antennas. It works perfect! I have in the past used an old MFJ-259, but it did not cover anything higher than the 2m band. I've been working with making some 70cm antennas for satellite work, and this little unit fit the bill perfect. Was able to get the antenna tuned, and have made several contacts. It is much more than just an antenna analyzer, and researching the the web using Google and YouTube, you can really see the power and versatility of the VNA. As the title stated, I definitely recommend this product if you do any type of RF design or even just to have on hand to see how an antenna will perform.

Just a heads up, these little VNA units are rather complicated, and they can do a lot of really cool things. If you are an amateur who wants to use one for the first time, be ready to study and learn some stuff. These are still mostly a mystery to me, but the gadget itself just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside - and they are easy to use if you need to tune an antenna for ham radio or receiving shortwave or even more complicated projects.
Ultimately I would like to use it for building matching networks, assembling my own FM radio from scratch. But I haven't gotten that far yet.

Just finished dialing in a homebrewed j-pole and and the VNA allowed me to nail the exact frequency I plan to operate on and get a fine SWR. I am sure it will be a great help in the future. 4 stars because the menu structure leaves a lot to be desired.
