- Reviewed in Canada on July 8, 2025Verified PurchaseI’m halfway through *Names of God: Knowing Peace* by Grace Fox, and I’m absolutely loving it. 💛 Each chapter explores a different name of God—starting with *Yahweh Shalom* (The Lord is Peace)—and it’s deepening my relationship with Him in such a personal way.
Grace shares stories from her own life and others, and reading her words feels like sitting down with a wise friend over coffee. ☕️ I especially appreciate the reflection questions and Scripture verses at the end of each chapter—they help me pause, think, and really connect with what I’m learning. There’s even a short video from Grace with each chapter, which makes the experience even richer.
If peace is something you’re craving right now, I wholeheartedly recommend this book. It’s already blessing me so much! 🌿
> “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”
> — John 14:27 (NLT)
- Reviewed in Canada on July 8, 2025Verified PurchaseIf you're walking through a difficult season and longing to experience more of God's peace, Names of God: Knowing Peace by Grace Fox is a beautiful companion for your journey. Each day's read felt like I was sitting down with a friend. Grace’s warm and engaging writing style, and insightful teaching, gently drew me closer to Jesus. I found myself encouraged, strengthened, and reminded that I can face each day with peace in my heart, knowing God is with me.
I'm also recommending this study to my women’s ministry team, as I think it would be wonderful in a group dynamic.
- Reviewed in Canada on July 12, 2025Verified PurchaseIv finished reading Grace Fox’s new book, names of God, knowing peace, and I had a hard time putting it down. Filled with stories from Graces life, and others, it really helps you get a vivid picture of how God works in the lives of real people and give them a peace that only He can give in the hardest moments in life. This book is a must read for everyone!
- Reviewed in Canada on July 9, 2025In the Names of God: Knowing Peace, Grace Fox walks you through seven names of God. Each name gave me a better understanding of the character of God. Yahweh Ori: The Lord Is My Light stood out the most. It reminds me that God is present, still in control, and nothing I am going through is a surprise to Him. I just need to sit still and trust God. Grace’s words are so encouraging and down to earth, always directing us to seek strength through the various names of God and rely on Him to get us through whatever we are going through right now. The questions and short video at the end of each chapter allowed for a deeper understanding of what I just read. If you are searching for peace, you may find it in one of the names of God Grace touches on.
I had the privilege to read this book ahead of the launch date as I received a review copy from the publisher in advance. This is an excellent book and I highly recommend it. It can be used as an individual study, with a friend, or in a small group.

- Reviewed in Canada on July 12, 2025I am presently reading Names of God: Knowing Peace written by Grace Fox and it has been such a comfort and speaks so deeply to our humanness and our deep need of real peace. If you are seeking to find peace and to find rest, this book opens an opportunity to really evaluate the truth of where real peace is found. Grace has been such an encouragement to me in my understanding of God and His love. I really appreciate her willingness to be honest and real yet powerfully looking to God for her fulfillment and wholeness. The way she writes allows me to think carefully through my thoughts. responses and actions in order to be the most free to live fully. I am so thankful for this opportunity. If you are looking for where to find peace, give this book a read.

5.0 out of 5 stars One GREAT devotional study for individuals or Groups
Verified Purchase"This second book in Grace Fox's "Names of God" series (Names of God: Knowing Peace) is at least as good as her first (Names of God: Living Unafraid). Packed with wonderful teachings on 7 more names of God. She uses great stories and analogies to show us how personal our God is. I'm learning new stuff and being reminded of a lot more. In all of it, I've found myself singing "How Great Thou Art"
This devotional book has really great questions for discussion at the end of each chapter that make it a super choice for a group study. I HIGHLY recommend it!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Devotional
Verified PurchaseWhat I like about this book, like others I have read is that, as I go from chapter to chapter, I know I am hearing from the Holy Spirit and not man/woman. It’s the anointing by the Holy Spirit that gives us revelation of God. This book is not just head knowledge. Head knowledge is not what the Church needs. We need an encounter with the Holy Spirit. Because Grace‘s book is inspired by real life stories and her own deep devotion, it will inspire and bless you, wherever you find yourself in your walk. As you study God’s many names, it will become easier to trust and depend on Him more. This book is a winner. A devotional that is rare among devotionals.
