I have mature skin and finding an effective or reasonably priced primer has been challenging. I was anxious to try this interestingly named primer out. Being called a face glue primer I wasn't sure what to expect, I was expecting it to be thicker like that white glue that we all used as kids, it does look like it but isn't anything like it. I had low expectations but as it turns out I am very pleasantly surprised by how light feeling and effective this primer is, even on mature skin with fine lines and wrinkles. There is absolutely no tackiness or residue feeling on the skin after being applied, it left my skin feeling silky smooth. The key to this primer is that less is more, a little dab goes a long way. I start with a small dab and only add more as needed. This primer provides a smooth base, doesn't accumulate into small lines or wrinkles. It helps extend my make up throughout the entire day and evening. The NYX professional makeup The Face Glue Primer is an excellent product for a very reasonable price point.
