    I was looking for something to finalize my look for an upcoming Renaissance Faire, and I wanted something that would work with the shoes that I already owned.     I read the reviews of these boot covers and other similar items and decided NUMJAW offered the best product for the price. I was expecting something that might look good from a distance but would appear separate from my shoes if viewed from up close. This was not the case – together the covers and shoes look like one unit. The faux leather seems to be very sturdy. I’d read that it was best to put on your shoes before the covers, but I had little trouble when I reversed this order; I feared the covers would not easily slide over the shoes. Though easy to put on, I had trouble getting them off, until I unlaced them from top to bottom. It’s situations like this when I’m sorry I don’t have a valet.
