    This powder is the answer to my search for a powdered supplement. Ground eggshells just don’t measure up and remain really gritty. Great product, I use it as a calcium supplement and sprinkle it in the dog food I make. None of the health food store had it and said that they were out of stock because of supplier’s shippping issues.

    Very useful as an additive to my dog's food. The calcium carbonate is in capsules, but the capsules can be opened and the powder can then be sprinkled on his food. It mixes in very smoothly and does not change the taste of the food. (Yes, I believe in tasting the food I make for my dog! It's all human-grade anyway.) I wish I could buy egg-shell calcium carbonate because it apparently works better metabolically, but this is an excellent way to add calcium until I can find egg-shell calcium.
