The cable is 35.5cm/14¡± long. The middle has an up converter that changes the voltage from 5V to 12V. When plugged in, the module lights up green indicating it¡¯s powered. The overall look and feel of the cable seems good. I connected the adapter to a USB phone charger. The module lit up green and I connected my dashcam that uses a 12V to USB-C adapter cable. Fitment of the 12V adapter was tight and did not want to pop off on its own. The camera powered up and everything was functional. I¡¯d recommend the Non-Square USB to 12V adapter if you want to connect automotive based devices at home or if you don¡¯t have enough 12V accessory ports in your car, but have more than enough USB ports to charge your phone. It gives you the flexibility without the hassles.
