We were actually looking for a floaty with a sun canopy and came across this instead. Now the kiddo has a splash pool and we're happy parents. The splash pool was very simple to set up, we used a portable air compressor to inflate it most of the way but did the last bit manually to avoid popping an unsuspecting shark balloon. The sun canopy is a must-have if you want to have your kid enjoy the pool for any reasonable amount of time, and it also offers a bit of privacy if you have a very exposed yard. It's also great for keeping toys in the pool. Highly recommended.

You definitely need to have an electric or at least manual pump on hand, otherwise this will take forever to inflate. It didn't take long with our electric pump, but I'm sure this would take forever if you tried to do it manually by mouth.

The size is small, just enough for one small toddler. Depending on what you want it for, that could be a good thing or a bad thing. This is really meant for a young toddler, one that isn't going to want to move around too much and basically just sit there and splash. The sunshade is practical, just make sure it's facing the right direction. If you are outside for a long period of time, you may need to rotate it as the sun moves.

The sprinkler is cold. My little one did not like it, but that's a personal thing... some kids might love it. Just keep in mind that hose water is typically quite cold.

Also, never leave your child unattended. Even though it's very very shallow, an infant can still drown in only a few inches of water. Safety first!

Overall, I am neutral towards this product. I don't dislike it, but I don't love it either. It's not bad, but it did not exceed my expectations.

This is a really cute shark splash pool! It has a sun canopy, sprinkler and you know...looks like a shark lol. The max water level is only 7 inches, so it's safer for smaller kids but not as fun for older ones capable of swimming.

It's easy to set up and looks like a lot of fun. The bottom is cushioned so you can even use it inside for a ball pit.

We got this pool for the toddlers to play in while the big kids splash in the pool. It's a hit with the toddlers AND the bigger kids that like the sprinkler feature. The top doesn't provide as much sun protection as I hoped but it can be moved around with the sun to provide good shade (it just requires some adjusting throughout the day). We have it on our pool deck so time will tell how the item holds up with use on the concrete. Overall, a really fun addition to our pool parties!
