  • You can directly download the report from the cloud software, which will automatically tally up the clock-in hours.

  • Assume that the duplicate punch period is 5 minutes. If you make several check-in attendance punches within 5 minutes, the clock considers only the first punch time and ignores the rest of the attendance punches.

Easy set up RFID or Biometric, have to use their website to setup.
This is like having an office assistant in a box for tracking payroll/time attendance. Set up is very straight forward. There are two options for connection to your network - either WIFI (2.4 Ghz only, 5 Ghz is not supported) or hardwired. Both are straightforward (nearly plug and play). The device itself can identify individuals either through biometrics (facial recognition or finger prints) or through the use of RFID cards. With the unit, you receive 5 RFID cards. Additional cards for the NG-TC1 can easily be sourced on 鶹. This is my preferred way of setting up this device. There is a enclosed privacy notice that talks about how this uses images of the employees face or fingerprints to set up biometric template and then deletes the images, but personally I prefer an option where the image is not stored at all - even if only temporarily. The RFID cards remove this issue entirely. As an added bonus, where this is mounted (height) is not as crucial as the camera is not required. Passwords can also be setup, but keying errors can make this a less efficient option. There is quite a bit of customization possible with this time card machine. You are able to set up departments, sites and even zones if you wish to in the NGTeco Office software. The software also allows you to network more than one time clock if you want to. The total number of employees this one time clock can track is 200. Finally you can create time sheets and add shift schedules. Once employee data has been captured, admins are able to view attendance records and export reports to MS Excel. Aesthetically, this is a nice, somewhat high-end, looking device. The power draw is fairly small. The time clock uses a 5V 2A power brick with a standard 5mm barrel connector. You are provided with a paper template to help you mount this on a wall and a custom mounting bracket that places it at the correct angle on the wall and helps with cord management. I have only used the RFID cards for verification so far and the accuracy has been 100% in that mode. We may try the fingerprinting to eliminate any potential issues with "card sharing". This is a good time tracking device with a LOT of options for how you can configure and track employee attendance. I wish it did not require connection to a third party site but that seems to be the way everything is now. At least there are no monthly fees required for operation of this electronic office assistant.

    Connecting and actually setting up this device was complicated for me but this system is backed by excellent online support. Called the number provided and was helped by an agent named Michael who was very helpful, patient really knows this system well. Guided me through and was able to set it up with his help. I decided to take a chance and called back next day to set up an older model that runs with an App on your phone. This older system had failed when my office Wifi was changed. I found this system was less complicated and another execellent agent named Isaac guided me through the reconnection of this old discontinued model of NGTeco (KF 460) and it started working as well. My hearty thanks to Isaac and Michael for your excellent support and professionalism. Both of the NGTeco products are great. Great value in these NGTeco products.
