Product Description
Now available in a square frame version called NF-P14s (s for square frame) that lends itself to use in case and radiator cooling, the classic NF-P14 is a long-standing favourite among enthusiast users around the world and helped to found Noctua’s reputation as a top-tier manufacturer of premium quality quiet cooling components. The new redux edition reissues this award-winning model in a streamlined, accessibly priced package that has been reduced to the essential core: the NF-P14 premium fan. Its industry grade SSO-Bearing bearing and over 150.000 hours MTBF rating make the NF-P14 redux a proven premium choice that provides trusted Noctua quality. The performance-oriented top speed of the 1500rpm PWM version is ideal for high efficiency case, radiator and CPU cooling as well as other applications that require both extended performance headroom and PWM for automatic speed control.
Square 140mm frame
The square 140mm frame of the NF-P14s features standard 140mm mounting holes (124.5mm spacing), which makes it a premium grade replacement for common 140mm case fans and perfect for use on 140mm water cooling radiators, where its square shape will ensure full coverage and best pressure performance.
Pressure-optimised Nine-Blade Design
Specifically developed for high-impedance applications such as CPU coolers, water-cooling radiators or cases with tight fan grills, the NF-P14's nine-blade impeller provides outstanding pressure and airflow performance.
SSO-Bearing
Combining the proven concept of hydrodynamic bearing with an additional magnet that supports the self-stabilisation of the rotor axis, Noctua's time-tested technology has become synonymous with supremely quiet operation and exceptional long-term stability.
Vortex-Control Notches
Noctua's signature Vortex-Control Notches split up trailing edge vortices and thus spread the fan's noise emission over a wider range of frequencies. This measure makes the fan sound more pleasant to the human ear.
Colour-customisable with NA-SAVP1 anti-vibration pads
The fan’s frame can be outfitted with Noctua’s chromax line NA-SAVP1 anti-vibration pads. Available in black, red, blue, white, green and yellow, these pads not only damp minute vibrations but also allow the fan to be colour-customised in order to coordinate it with popular build colour schemes!
Streamlined Redux Edition
The redux product line reissues some of Noctua's most popular, award-winning models by presenting them in streamlined, accessibly priced packages. All redux edition products are industry proven, time-tested models that helped to found Noctua's reputation as a first-tier supplier of premium grade low noise cooling equipment.

Noctua Quality on a Budget

- Reviewed in Canada on March 2, 2025Verified PurchaseThis is the obvious buy for anyone looking for quality fans that are quiet and actually move air!
no other RGB reversed fan or anything like that can compare to something built for purpose and not for looks!
these fans are for the users that want performance, quality and quietness! out performs 90% of the market and will last well past its expected lifespan! these redux fam are 10/10 best fans for the dollar!
most fans will underperform compared to these!
- Reviewed in Canada on January 3, 2026Verified PurchaseNoctua Fans have no rival, they are highly durable, Out hundreds that I've used I've over the years I have never had a single issue.
They perform at the highest level, and are effectively quiet.
No other brand comes close.
- Reviewed in Canada on May 18, 2019Verified PurchaseThese have all the legendary Noctua quality, at a *far* more reasonable price. I have 5 in a Fractal Design Define R6. They replaced a motley crew of Fractal GP and and Corsair fans. They are both quieter, and flow better. It's insanity. This isn't an airflow optimized case, I've got the top moduvent closed, so the only exhaust is the on on the back, but oh my damn these things work. The temperatures in my case are noticeably lower, my CPU/GPU temps are lower, these things WORK.
The Hype is 100% real.
They don't have RGB, or rubber grommets ( they don't really need them... ), but they're PWM, and stupid quiet, and NOT BROWN.
Only thing to note, and this isn't a big deal for anyone who's built their own rig, it's just something to be aware of, the holes where the screws go aren't tapped. If your trying to shove these into the floor of a case that's already got a bunch of junk in it, you may wanna tap them ahead of time.
Notthati'mspeakingfromexperience>_>...ahem.
It's not worth taking a star off, because it's pretty standard across the industry and these *are* a budget product.
BUY. THESE. FANS.
They do the thing better than anyone else's do the thing.
- Reviewed in Canada on August 27, 2019Verified PurchaseNoctua fans are honestly like magic, they're both very powerful and quiet.
I'm installed mine on my NZXT Kraken X62 AIO. These run quiet in my PC right up to the 70% power mark, though that's also with some anti-vibration pads I added.
Since the Redux line is low cost and grey rather than brown, while still having that 6 year warranty, outstanding performance and being nearly silent, it honestly makes them a steal for just how affordable they are.
The NF-P14s Redux is also at time of writing Noctua's only 140mm fan primarily optimized for static pressure, so these are a great choice for uses with impeded air flow.
The downside to the Redux fans is they lack any of the accessories included with the standard line. Literally none, all they come with is mounting screws. The cable is also fixed, not a short one with an extension like most of Noctua's other fans.
But this fan can at least accept Chromax anti-vibration pads, so there's that.
These are definitely a great buy.
If Noctua's not the seller though, wait for them to restock. Some sellers are price gouging hard with these, selling them at nearly double what Noctua does.

- Reviewed in Canada on August 30, 2025Verified Purchasesuper quiet and long lasting fan
- Reviewed in Canada on February 1, 2025Verified PurchaseUsing for the front of my case , brought down max GPU and CPU temps , this thing pulls the most air out of all the fans I have.
It's the best, I plan on slowly replacing every fan in my PC with Noctua fans. My artic P12s are a mixed bag, some rattle and make noise despite being cleaned, some have blown the plastic behind the bearing out, but none of my Noctua fans have any of these problems.
The higher price point is worth it.
- Reviewed in Canada on August 9, 2017Verified PurchaseThe redux series are basically the discount version of noctua's fans.
Appears to be same noctua quality minus some of the fancier features. For example; the rubber pads that come fitted standard on the other noctua Fans (basically the 4 corners you mount the screws to) are not in this design, it's just a hard plastic frame all around.
The fan itself is a different color scheme, grey/grey instead of the tan/brown. Color combination is subjective, it doesnt stand out but does not impress either.
The fan blades appear to have the same noctua low noise, high airflow design with the notches cut in the blades and ribbing along the profiles, similar to, if not the same as the higher priced ones. So that's great.
What you get in the box: Noctua fan + 4x screws. Thats it! For my application this was perfectly acceptable.
If you want any of the usual noctua standard items (noise reduction adaptor, 4-2 pin adaptor, rubber joints, stickers, etc, etc.) you'll have to step up to the non-redux model.
They're quite quiet at 500rpm, almost unnoticeable, at 1500rpm it's still reasonable. Maybe a bit louder than the higher tier fans, but a good, steady, sound profile that isn't bothersome at all.
I have yet to have a noctua ever fail on me, which is why I bought these, I hope they'll be just as reliable.
- Reviewed in Canada on June 25, 2024Verified PurchaseIf you've done minimal research on PC Components, you've heard of Noctua's fans. They have good reviews and good specifications but they're a bit more costly, especially if you need to purchase six or more of them!
They've listened and provided a nicer on the wallet, entry level option! I personally opted for these ones as the color suits my build a bit more, I don't care about noise, and they can still move air well. Hardly noticeable at an idle speed, these things seem to move a reasonable amount of air. It's not often when my computer requires them to ramp up the speed a bit, and when they do the temperatures drop quickly.
No complaints!
