This Telescope Mount Tripod Adapter Base was just what I was looking for. One concern I had before it arrived though, was that the grip for tightening the clamp would bump into the Dec Bracket Fine Tuning Assembly locking clamp, making it impossible to rotate beyond 360 degrees. Fortunately there is clearance which allows it to spin all the way around. This can be a problem with many regular camera arca clamps.

    This is a great little add on to my tripod for telescope viewing of the night sky! I got it bc I tried to attach my scope to my camera tripod but the dovetail didn't fit. This not only fits, but due to it's build it's very tough for it's job!

Gracias a este adaptador he solucionado el problema de raíz y puedo montar el telescopio astronómico en trípodes con más altura, y estar sentado cómodamente por muy en vertical que enfoque hacia el cielo nocturno. Es indispensable contar con una cola de milano además del adaptador, pero tratándose de un telescopio astronómico lo normal es que la incluya de serie.
