【Drop In Mounting Supported】 Tilt the rail bar plate and insert the lower end into the saddle clamp, then slide it in until the rail bar plate sits flush inside the clamp. Note: the rail bar plate is not included
【Long Adjustment Screw Knob】 The extended screw knob lets you unimpededly adjust the clamp with a telescope installed. Straight knurls provide a firm grip for greater locking strength

This Telescope Mount Tripod Adapter Base was just what I was looking for. One concern I had before it arrived though, was that the grip for tightening the clamp would bump into the Dec Bracket Fine Tuning Assembly locking clamp, making it impossible to rotate beyond 360 degrees. Fortunately there is clearance which allows it to spin all the way around. This can be a problem with many regular camera arca clamps.

This Telescope Mount Tripod Adapter Base was just what I was looking for.
