Ce drame le fera ironiquement renouer avec deux de ses amis d?enfance?: l?un, Sean (Bacon) charg de l?enqute?; l?autre, Dave (Robbins), principal suspect.

Prsent sur trois DVD bourrs de bonus enrichissants (entrevues avec Eastwood et ses comdiens, visite guide par Lehane de Boston, documentaire sur l?adaptation), Mystic River est un film ?pre nous plongeant au c?ur des ?mes troubles de ses personnages.     Probably in every Eastwood fan's top 5 collection. Has the acting, has the director, has the story, and got the awards it deserved.

    A bit light on the extras. So they filled up 2+ hours worth of Charlie Rose interviews from late 2003 - mostly with Tim Robbins [and most of that wasn't related to the movie]. Other than that are two featurettes and trailers. No "making of". No deleted scenes.

    Note: The featurette "Beneath the Surface" has nothing to do with the author the movie was based on [back cover of the case says "Dennis Lehane Tours the Boston Neighbourhood Setting of His Novell" - no tour].
