Keypad and camera work well with some caveats. Because the keypad is white/off white, you will need to wipe it down occasionally as the keys will soil over time making it easier for someone to guess the code. The motion detecting camera works well and can be set for range and sensitivity to suit. You can block out things like a nearby roadway or trees that may trigger motion due to blowing leaves. Things like higher sensitivity and increased range will decrease battery life, as well as keypad usage. I purchased a spare battery to always have one charged as we do find the battery life is short. We are typically getting around 30 days of life before needing to be recharged. The kit comes with an angle mounting bracket only, so you can install it pointed about 30 degrees to the left or right. This works ok for us, but may not suit everyone’s situation. I find it odd that they do not include the flat mounting bracket to point the camera/keypad straight ahead. This is available as an add on option purchased separately. Also, to change the battery, one must remove the camera/keypad portion from the mounting bracket by unscrewing a very small brass screw on the underside of the mounting bracket. Extreme care must be taken in removing this to not lose it, especially if you have a dirt or gravel driveway or during wintertime when it may fall into snow. I think they could have come up with a much better design for this where the screw stayed in place as opposed to coming all the way out. Also, in order for the motion detection and recording to work, you need to have a subscription to MyQ. You get a 30 day trial for this. And, we have two keypads. You need a subscription for each unit which gets expensive. One can go into the app and view the camera, but the subscription is really required if you are looking to have this for the motion detection and recording features. While trying to pair them with the garage door openers, it would fail. What I discovered is the LED bulbs that were in the opener interfered with the signal and would prevent pairing. As soon as I removed the bulbs, it immediately paired. Just something to keep in mind while pairing as nowhere in the manual is this indicated to cause a possible pairing issue. Overall, we like the keypad, but we did get the subscription as well. If that is of no interest, then there are much cheaper keypads available that work just as well.

One star only because negative stars isn't an option. Installation was easy. That's it for the good. The garage door randomly opens and closes. While we where home i would get random notifications the door is open. Then while doing some yard work door just closed. Best part was while we went out for dinner the garage door kept opening randomly not once but 6 times while we where out. This junk belongs in the trash.
