I have an older Craftsman lawn tractor==YS4500. When compared to the blades already on the tractor, these a not as thick and seem a little lighter in weight. The edge of the blade could have been sharper so I actually sharpened them before installing. They do fit the tractor spindle with no issues and seem to work as intended. However, since I just installed, I cannot opine on their durability for one or more seasons.

These blades fit my mower but are not as sharp as OEM blades. On the first cut, it seemed much of the grass was not being cut and I had to go back over the same area a second time before the grass appeared smoothly cut. I have used this riding mower for thirteen years and have changed the blades nine times, so I know how sharp new blades should be.

I would not buy this product again.
