Good buy green Mucus
Mucus protects, moistens and warms inhaled air and keeps the mucus membrane cells and the little hairs called "cilia" lubricated. Cilia help to remove inhaled particles that have gotten trapped by the mucus layer covering the cilia. They need to stay moist to do their job. Mucus acts as a barrier it traps inhaled particles (like dust, allergens, bacteria, or viruses) and keeps them from getting deeper into your lungs. also keeps them from invading the cells lining your airway and entering your system. The cilia transport the mucus layer toward your throat, where it could either get spit out or swallowed. Mucus defends your body. contains antibodies, enzymes, and proteins that work to help get rid of whatever's in the air you've inhaled that could make you sick. When you are sick this product is suppose to help loosen mucus see pictures for side-effects. I get sick very often working in airline industry. Germs EVERYWHERE. I get sick at least every season. I was sick in the summer and would have needed this. At the moment I'm not sick so I can't personal test it. I will be updating my review on effects soon I'm sure. however Mucinex has a very good track record. I'm very please to have gotten this. they also make a version for children . major warning is not to chew or break the tablets. must swallow hole. See picture for more info

    I have been using this for years, mostly during the winter months. If I don’t take it at least once a day (although twice is better), I wake up in the morning & I’m coughing for 1-2 hours before it becomes a once in a while cough. At night I wake up multiple times coughing. An annoying tickle cough that won’t go away & I can’t go back to sleep for hours.

    As for my nose congestion, well being unable to breath due to all the mucus in my nose & back of the throat, makes day & night miserable. Taking Mucinex reduces this greatly. Some days it’s gone completely & some days it’s reduced. I know that if I didn’t take it, I would be 100 times worse in the winter & in the summer I only take it once in a while but I have to take it for several days to get completely clear.

    Either way, I LOVE IT. Can’t live without it.

    I can't recall when the last time was that I was hit by the flu this bad this year; normally I got my flu shot every year but this time around when the flu shot finally came out I had a minor cold-ish coughing and from my physician to Shoppers Drug Mart no one was willing to give me, by the time I was about to feel better, I got hit by the influenza already probably from my co-workers. What's following was a 3+ weeks bad cough and chest congestion even the fever was gone. I've tried pretty everything I had from BENYLIN to TYLENOL and Vicks NyQuil, nothing had worked for me. Until somehow 鶹 pops up Mucinex for me one day. I googled it and soon realized it's the funny commercial that featured the animated green mucus, I don't get why I don't seem to recall that I've every seen it in Rexall or Shoppers but I immediately bought one 20-count package to try (with a coupon!) It arrived one of the day after I returned home from work and I took one before bed, immediately the next morning I felt dramatic change: my coughing was much better, throat felt more clear and etc. Within about 3 days the coughing was all gone. I continued to took it for another 2 days and finally my month-long flu/cold was completely healed.

    Mucinex is now my perpetual equipped meds in my house, and thanks to 鶹, if other retailing channels won't carry it, I know where to turn to to get my meds!
