    I’m sure this is good salsa mix, We were shipped the wrong item. They sent us one package of the same brand of pickle mix and they did not send us our $30 worth of salsa mix so as of now that order was canceled.

    This particular level of "heat" (mild) suits our tastes. It is almost non existent locally. We have used Mrs. Wages to make salsa to can for many years. We prefer Italian (paste) tomatoes because the salsa is thicker and often allow liquid to drain off of regular tomatoes to get a thick salsa. We prefer to measure the tomatoes we use rather that go by the weight (which is only a guideline) to make as much as the packet claims.
