    Works very well on our porcelain kitchen tiles that are textured for non slip, making them rly hard to clean. This sponge does what other mops haven’t. I would not use this on anything but stone tiles. Would likely leave marks on linoleum or wood but good on ceramic or porcelain.

    I really like the Mr. Clean mop but I also like all Mr. Clean products. This mop makes washing the floor quite easy because the mop is flat as opposed to the curved mops. The flat mop glides quite easily over the floor and it cleans much better than the older type sponge mops. It cleans up all the dirt or scuff marks from shoes and leaves my floors very clean. Would recommend.

    This is the only one to buy, the cheaper one is thinner and probably crap as noted, and the scrubbing process naturally wears these down so you want the thickest refill. I have a stone tile floor that is supposed to be white, and I have dogs. The floor gets so filthy so fast! I used to use a bucket, Ajax, and a scrub sponge and scrub by hand; this can clean the whole floor in about 15-20 minutes where on my hands and knees took at minimum an hour. I don't use a bucket, just rinse the dirt out under the kitchen sink faucet, and hand squish the foam clean. It is not good at picking up water, you do have to tilt and squeeze it several times to wring it. When I am happy with the level of clean I finish wiping my floor with paper towels. If the floor is just a little gray all I need is the mop and hot water and 5 minutes, for black prints I sprinkle a little Ajax or Comet. I would give it 3 stars overall but it is the ONLY MOP that can clean this awful floor, we even put a bristle brush head on a drill to scrub it and that just flung cleaner all over the cabinets, so I am happy to have found these! I get around 6-7 good hard mopings out of each one.

    I get so disgusted with mops--seems like it should be so simple to get a replacement head; but, no, I went back to the store where I purchased the initial mop (with head), but (as I probably should have guessed), they did not carry a mop head that fit the mop I had -- thus, my internet search. I also noticed the store did not have any mop heads that fit the mops they were selling. It forces us to keep purchasing new mops (with heads) & spending way more $$$ that we should have to spend on stuff like this. Thank goodness for amazon.com - I found a mop head that fit (and purchased 3 of them) -- shouldn't have to buy another for quite a while. The mop head itself is OK.
