    These hooks work well for light to medium weighted things to hang on your wall. Would definitely recommend using the wall anchors. I found that the mounting holes were drilled at an angle in towards itself which makes installing and marking pilot holes a little trickier. But once they are mounted they seem pretty sturdy. Also because the holes are at an angle, sometimes when installing these, the screws pull the base in upon itself if you are using a drill. You should be fine if you are installing these by hand.
