The chips are really nice. They are heavy, decent, plenty of them and a pleasure to play with. However the case is not great. It looks like it should be very good and initially looks solid. However the quality even after a few days of use is just not there. A week after gifting it is starting to come apart. One of the feet fell off the very next day and it is clear that the hole was drilled twice and it was riveted just with the hope of getting it through quality control. One of the hinges is loose, again poor riveting. It didn’t really last a day before failing, so wont be long before we have to find another option. So as a present, a disappointing end to a very promising start

For the money, i dont think its worth it. The chip weight feels nice, no doubt about that. But for the value for the price, im not sure about that. Several of the chips were damaged. This model of Monte Carlo chips, the clay on the outside on a majority of the chips were not properly finished. I am not sure how other clay chips are, but for the price this makes it a huge bummer. I love the style, but with the crappy finish on the chips it takes away from the feel of it and makes shuffling the chips a struggle. Customer service was great, sent a few photos of damaged chips and was given replacements, however same issue with the finish.
