It is often difficult to know what color something is through a photo on a screen due to differences in temperature, brightness, etc. For this item, in person, it resembles a wood stain called Puritan Pine. It is on the lighter side of wood stains but isn't a light yellowish wood which I thought it was (and might have preferred) but is closer to a slightly orangish shade that still looks fantastic.

Also there are screws that fasten the stand to the frame that should have included plugs to cover the unsightly screw holes. I would have returned the product but I chose a Kohl's dropoff for the first return, but then �鶹�� forced me to use a UPS dropoff for the second return. WHY?
