Bakuchiol has always been a favorite ingredient of mine. Its a natural alternative to retinol but performs just as good for anti aging. Anti aging skincare must be started from at least mid 20s but when you are just starting out, its tough to find a gentle formulation because retinol can be very harsh for beginners. Thats where bakuchiol comes because its gentle and doesnt cause irritation. Its renews skin without making it overtly dry. It also containst vitamin C so its a two in one product. Vitamin C is a great antioxidant to fight free radicals that contribute to aging. This serum as you can see has a very watery texture and so, its easy to apply and readily gets absorbed. Its also very hydrating. Great for dry winter months in Canada.

    I found this bakuchiol oil to be a very helpful skin care product. My skin was soft and appeared healthier after using it. I also enjoy the very pleasant but mild citrus fragrance. For some reason though the bottle was not in the box as shown in the picture. It was tightly sealed so I wasn't concerned about security of the product but in order to protect the glass bottle it should be in a box.

    I have only used it four times on my neck area. I am using it 3 times a week to see if my skin will react to it. So far, my skin has no adverse reaction to it. I am glad about it. I find it moisturizing. It is not as drying as retinol. I will eventually increase the frequency of use to every other day and try it on my face.

This *Preservative Free* Cold Pressed Bakuchiol Facial Oil, does not make skin peel or turn red. I just started using it so I cannot tell today if I can see a difference yet. I understand it can take 3-4 weeks before we can see a difference. So far I really like how my face feels and looks.

    Maybe my hopes were too high for this product, but I admit I am disappointed. I have very dry skin and the beginnings of fine lines under my eyes, and I only use natural products so I thought this would be perfect. It smells and feels great on the skin, and it may have made a small difference with the fine lines. However I had to use a ton to moisturize my face and it really didn't do a great job. The bottle lasted my 3 weeks using it 1-2x daily, and my skin is still dry. Other products did a better job for moisturizing. Sadly, will be looking for a new option instead.
