    My son loves this

My son was excited to try out the accessory with his meta-quest two. He was able to assemble it according to the directions, and he was happy with how it came together. It looks like it is well built, even for being a 3-D printed accessory. I was impressed by the strong magnets which the docks attach to. It comes with locking mechanisms to secure the docks. The only issue so far has been with games that require reloading over the back, as the controller will need to be removed from the dock and put behind the shoulder to reload. There might be a way to change the setting for this, but we haven’t discovered it yet.
It easily comes apart for storage, and doesn’t take up a lot of space. My son seems to enjoy it and finds it comfortable to use for FPS games.

This thing is surprisingly heavy. When I felt the box, I was quite hopeful.

Although some of the parts are 3D printed, they're well done. The magnets are good quality and work well.

But that's where the complements end. The padded arm rest feels somewhat like the butt of a rifle of you pull it into your chest, but because doing so involves pulling on the controllers, you won't.

Much of it is just pvc pipe and fittings, which would be fine if in VR it added to the experience.

Playing something like Brookhaven Experiment using the controller, firing a pistol, is very immersive. You get the sense you're holding a pistol and the real world fades away. I didn't at all get the same sense when holding this monstrosity. I was very aware of what I was holding. It didn't make the game more fun or even easier to play.

What would have made this better is a trigger mechanism where it should be on a rifle, and when it's pulled it works like a brake cable on a bike, tightening a strap that you wrap around the trigger on your controller. Without that, I found this actually took away from the immersion and enjoyment so I'm never going to use it.

Purchased this for my son. He was very happy with it and said he thought it was great. I have noticed it falling apart every once in a while when he is trying something and he has to put it back together. He doesn’t seem to think it’s a big deal.

Received my item and was pleasantly surprised by the ease of assembly, but once I actually started using it I began to notice some issues. The construction is good, but the PVC is rather flimsy, and while the controller holders are good, they appear to not have been sent through any quality control as the edges were extremely sharp and jagged (I actually cut myself ). It took about 30 minutes with a file to sand the plastic down to a comfortable level. Beyond that, the controllers being mounted on the top makes for difficulty reloading as the stock blocks you. Besides this I am satisfied enough, and reccomend for a low budget stock.

I’ve been using the accessory for a couple of weeks now and it isn’t the best but for the price compared to others I would say it’s good. It does tend to flip upside down if you let go of the accessory whilst using the harness and the handles for the controller are pretty uncomfortable so I use gloves when I use it but besides that it’s a pretty good product. Very easy to put together. 👍

    The bad:
If you're using hand straps on your controllers, you'll have to put the stock battery doors back on to use this.
There is no rotation adjustment for the controller and at least in Pavlov the gun wanted to point slightly to the side. I made it a little better by rotating the handles so they weren't inline with each other, but it feels weird in the hand.
The knobs and zip ties scratch your chest.
There is no forward and back adjustment of the gunstock and it sticks back a little too far which makes weapon handling a little awkward sometimes.

The good: This thing rocks. I played Pavlov shack for over an hour, and once I got the guns calibrated to the stock in the test range, and got used to locking and unlocking the controllers, I began to get kill streaks. I used this with the M249 and M4 mostly, and I was able to dial in a pretty comfortable, and realistic position. In that first hour I was already developing muscle memory and found I could aim pretty accurately without looking down the sights after awhile.

While the hand positions are too far apart for pistols and the smaller SMG's, many of the medium SMG's like the MP5 and HK worked great with the gunstock. Bolt action rifles were also very easy to use and operating the bolt with the right hand wasn't a problem. Pump shotguns are another story though as it's best to unlock both hands because you can't operate the pump while docked.

The build quality is very simple, it's just a couple of tubes with some stays screwed onto them. But it does the job better than I thought it would. They include extra thumb screws and nuts in case you lose one, and there was extra foam for the cheek rest, and some locking clips which will prevent the controllers from being removed if that is your desire.

This basically just looks like something thrown together from local hardware store parts, but it works. It's got magnetic holders for the controllers. The magnets hold pretty firm, so they don't disconnect on accident. The overall build feels pretty cheap as it is literally just PVC pipe and a few 3D printed parts. But it works for what it needs to be.

One thing to consider, if you have any kind of 3rd party grips for your controller you will have to remove them to use this holder.

This is functional and does the job intended but feels a bit cheap to me compared to the price but when you are in VR I don't feel like you really care or notice.
