- Reviewed in Canada on April 20, 2022Verified PurchaseFaucet broke a few days ago which is 15 years old. Works great otherwise. Checked for replacing new but this is the fastest fix since you have to shop around for piping and then install a lot more than just buy this. Expensive for what it is but worth it with the time saving. Overall moen is a good brand. This one being older and the metal used originally wasn't great. I think it's what my car friend calls "pot metal". I thought about getting him to weld the old one but a lot of trouble asking for favor and return favor. Took a chance at this after reading reviews. Got my tap there are no complications. Perfect fit, functions identical and slightly different shape and colour. Hopefully it is made with higher quality metal. The original definitely shouldn't fail, this is the first time ever that I saw a broken faucet handle falling off. If it last another 15 years then it's good. Nice to come with the screw as the previous one was stripped quite a bit from trying to tighten it all the time.

- Reviewed in Canada on December 3, 2021Verified PurchaseNever thought that I would find this piece after the original broke off of handle. This replacement is the exact same part as was broken with the exception the the screw used to secure it to the faucet handle was a bit longer than the original and does not come with the plastic attachment needed to secure it to the actual faucet cartridge(see blue piece in photo.. Fortunately I had kept the broken piece and had both the plastic attachment and the original screw. Replacement of the part took only around 10 minutes and I now have a fully functioning faucet again.
Although this part was pricey for what it is, it was still way cheaper than buying a new one and having it replaced.
Make sure not to throw out your original part before getting the new one.
First photo shows broken part bottom side up with blue plastic attachment that secures the part to the faucet cartridge. You will need this old part for the new one you receive from 鶹. Relatively easy to take off and put on new part.
The second photo shows the new part next to the old part.
The third photo shows the broken part top side up, again with blue plastic clip that you will need for the new part.

5.0 out of 5 stars I can use my sink to wash my hands again!
Verified PurchaseThis part broke on my Moen bathroom faucet. Purchased on 鶹 right away, didn't even think about running out to the plumbing supply house to chase it down. The price was right and the install was easy- just needed my trusty Allen wrench set and a Phillips screwdriver (but first, had to turn off the water at the sink). The replacement was a perfect fit, the only difference was the color of the metal.

5.0 out of 5 stars Replaced a broken one on a 1999ish bath faucet
Verified PurchaseGuessing our bath faucet was made in 1998 or 1999 when the house was built. It had been dripping on and off for a year or so but would stop if you were mindful of pushing the handle down. Guessing the metal was softening up and lifting up when the handle was raised and not reseating until you pushed it down, thereby bending the metal back into place and shutting the water off. Of course this meant it slowly kept weakening and finally broke off at this part.
100484 is the metal part stamp on the old and new part. Took maybe a couple of minutes to remove the broken one and install the new. You WILL NEED the little plastic piece from the old part so do not toss it and be careful removing it and attaching it to the new one. Kit would have been better if they included that piece as I can see people breaking it.
Anyways, it worked great and saved me the cost of a new faucet and the hassle of removing/installing a full unit.

4.0 out of 5 stars The set screw requires a wrench size that you may not have
Verified PurchaseWe bought our faucets from Menard's many years ago and on one of them the handle came off because this part broke. I didn't remember what kind of faucet we got and there was no marking on the faucet itself but the current model Moen Adler bathroom faucet looks like the one we bought and Menard's sells it so that is probably what it was.
As others have reported, this seems to be a replacement for an older part number. The part itself works fine, but the set screw (both original and the supplied replacement) seems to require a size of hex key wrench that isn't that common: 7/64". I had metric and SAE wrench sets and all the wrenches were too big or too small. Menard's and Home Depot didn't have this size either. I ended up buying a set on 鶹 and the 7/64 wrench did the job perfectly.
