    A mod podge fan from way back picked the variety pack so I could try out the various types (there didnt used to be so many)! I really loved the sparkle more than I thought I would. I found it was difficult to manage the amount of product that came out of the "squeeze" style bottles. Next time I would squeeze the glue/sealer into a container before use.

    Ich kenne Mod Podge schon seit vielen vielen Jahren, noch aus meiner Zeit aus den USA. Damals gab es nur die klassische Variante in "Glossy" und "Matte", aber jetzt wurde die Familie ja auf unzählige Produkte erweitert, für jede Anwendung den passenden (Mod Podge) Kleber :-)
    Da ich im Freundes- und Bekanntenkreis schon einige Kreative mit dem Mod Podge Fieber angesteckt habe, finde ich es super, dass Mode Podge hier nun ein "Starter Pack" als Probierpaket für neugierige Mod Podge Neulinge anbietet.

    Enthalten sind 5 Flaschen à je 2oz (60ml):
    - Sparke (pink Flasche): für alles was glitzern soll
    - Gloss (rote Flasche): für ein glänzendes Oberflächen-Finish, so wie Glanzlack
    - Matte (gelbe Flasche): für ein mattes/seidenmattes Oberflächen-Finish
    - Outdoor (grüne Flasche): Universal für alles was längerfristig draussen der Witterung ausgesetzt ist (Regen, Wasser, Schmutz, Hitze, Kälte etc.)
    - Paper (blaue Flasche): für alles aus Papier (z.B Zeichnungen versiegeln, wo draufkleben etc. Verhindert dass das Papier zerfällt oder sich wellt).

    Ich habe schon alle Sorten von Mod Podge ausprobiert und muss sagen, die verschiedenen Sorten sind nicht einfach eine Marketing Strategie sondern halten tatsächlich, was sie versprechen! Meine ältesten Mod Podge Projekte sind mindestens 15-20 Jahre alt und sind noch so schön wie am ersten Tag, ohne vergilben oder Rissbildung! Das können die Kleber die man hier in Bastelläden bekommt (meistens Verwendungszweck Serviettentechnik oder Décopatch) einfach nicht leisten, die vergilben schon nach einem Jahr und die ganze Mühe war für die Katz...auch bei Dekoartikeln die nichtmal direktem Sonnenlicht ausgesetzt sind.

    Zur Anwendung: Mod Podge ist ein flüssiger Kleber, den man am besten mit einem Pinsel, Schwamm oder Schwammpinsel aufträgt. Man braucht dafür nicht die speziellen Mod Podge Tools. Für die beste Haltbarkeit trägt man eine Schichte dünn auf, lässt sie vollständig trocknen und trägt dann noch eine zweite Schicht auf. Danach ist die Oberfläche hart, beständig gegen Kratzer, Feuchtigkeit und eignet sich auch prima als Ersatz für herkömmlichen Lack oder Versiegelung. Auch als Schutzschicht ist Mod Podge super (dafür wurde es ursprünglich erfunden). Papiermaché, Serviettentechnik etc. wird hiermit wasserfest versiegelt. Mod Podge eignet sich für fast alle Untergründe: Papier, Karton, Holz, Glas, Leinwand, Stein, Kunststoff, Stoff etc. Im Internet gibt es unzählige Anleitungsvideos oder Bilder für kreative Inspiration.
    Mit Mod Podge habe ich schon unzählige Projekte umgesetzt, um hier nur einige zu nennen als Inspiration für Neulinge:

    - Glasleuchten für den Garten verschönert (Mod Podge Glitter + Lebensmittelfarbe), unser Garten funkelt, leuchtet und glitzert nun auch im dunkeln und man stolpert nicht mehr.

    - Unzählige kleine Holzschachteln für einen Adventskalender in Serviettentechnik verziert (Weihnachtspapierservietten & Mod Podge zum kleben und versiegeln).

    - Schmuck-Schatulle aus Holz mit selbst bemaltem Seidenstoff bezogen, mit Mod Podge versiegelt und Glitzersteine drauf geklebt. Ist nun die "Schatztruhe" meiner Prinzessin.

    - Hässliche Karton Schuhschachteln mit schönem Geschenkpapier beklebt und anschliessend wasserdicht versiegelt.

    - Papiermaché Häschen mit Osterservietten in Serviettentechnik beklebt und mit Mod Podge versiegelt, sind nun seit 6 Jahren jeweils zu Ostern ganztägig draussen und noch so schön wie am Anfang.

    - Converse Sneaker (Schuhe) meiner Tochter repapiert: Die Stoffschuhe hatten Löcher, die habe ich mit Mod Podge und mehreren Lagen Stoff geflickt. Danach habe ich Glitter Mod Podge mit pink Lebensmittelfarbe (1 Zahnstocherspitze voll Farbe reicht) gemischt und mit einem Schwammpinsel die Schuhe 2x eingepinselt. Nun sind alle in der Schule neidisch auf die tollen "Pink Glitzer-Chucks" meiner Tochter....besser als wegwerfen! :-)

    - Das Skizzenbuch meiner Tochter (schwarzes Moleskine mit schwarzem Kunstledereinband) hat meine Tochter mit Stickern, einer Zeichnung und mit Edding Stiften dekoriert. Damit sich das Motiv nicht abwetzt oder kaputt geht wurde es mit Mod Podge Glossy versiegelt. So ein schönes Skizzenbuch hat im Kunstunterricht nun keiner.

    - Plastik Ostereier mit Serviettentechnik verziert und mit Mod Podge Outdoor versiegelt und an die Bäume und Sträucher im Garten gehängt.

    - Mehrere Zeichnungen im A3 Format von meiner Tochter mit Mod Podge Paper versiegelt. Diese verwenden wir nun am Esstisch als Platzdecken.

    - Etwas abgetragene Echtlederhandtasche gepimpt, indem am (abgewetzten) Rand Swarovski Glitzersteine mit Mod Podge draufgeklebt wurden. Ist nun ein Style Highlight.

    So, ich hoffe ihr habt nun genug Ideen für eure eigenen Projekte ;-)
