    Not an investment and a painful experience to use. Mirro really decreased the quality of their product. Lid hard to close. Rusts. The outside scratches easily. The user manual is confusing (misleading?) regarding use and recipes. The weights won't gigle (the manual say they should and some reviews I read say customer service said it was ok if they don't). Venting is very discreet and definitely doesn't make the common sould to be expected. ***Manual actually says you should only use it if you have a gas stove or one with coils, so if you have a standard glass or ceramic oven like most people do, it's not compatible.*** If you are new at canning, don't blame yourself if it doesn't work well for you. If you are a long term canning fan, take a deep breath! ... Would have expected this quality if it had been 1/3 of the price max!
