Yes, I have a TV above my fireplace and we like it there. We sit in our recliners and are able to watch until it’s time for bed. A mantle is no place for a large DVD player. This one fits the bill. We are able to leave this DVD player under the TV where a normal DVD player would fit. It comes with a remote and updated connections (HDMI) where our others were outdated. It plays well and we are able to watch older DVDs of movies we love from the 90’s. Streaming is great but unless you have the right service you may miss out on your favorites. I like the portability and the ease of setup. Sound quality is better than what we had before. Did I say it includes an HDMI cable?

There are so many end types and variations of those end types that it’s difficult to keep the correct cord handy. The most common end types are lightning, USB, and C. This cord covers those three types. Being coiled has an advantage in some situations like in my car but it’s not very good for situations where the outlet and the device are a couple of feet apart. A coiled cord makes that situation almost impossible to connect.
The overall quality of this cord is good but the changeable end type adapters are a little fragile and if you break it off it can’t be reattached. The cord and that adapter are still compatible and can be used but it’s no longer connected to the cord making it easy to misplace.
I like the heavy cord. I don’t know if that increases Thor decreases the resistance or transfer rate of the cord but it definitely increases the durability of the cord and in this case I like that it is coiled. I keep this one on my desk. Being coiled it stays pretty much out of the way and helps me keep my desk organized. I like the multiple adapters being attached because where I needed three cords I can now get by with one. For the same reasons I keep another similar cord in my car.
This cord will handle the lightning charge rates of my phone and iPad Pro. It will also handle the various strength chargers I’ve tried. For whatever reason it will not work when charging the communicator in my motorcycle helmet. I think it’s the size of the adapter body keeping it from inserting fully and making a good connection. That’s something to think about, the barrel shape and size of the adapters may not work with thick device covers.
