- Reviewed in Canada on October 26, 2023Verified PurchaseSo far I have gone over 800 miles with these at speeds between 70-75 mph and they did not show any signs that they would fall off as others have reported. I have them mounted on a 2023 Toyota Tundra and I mounted them to the bottom of the mirrors. There are a tight fit and I can’t adjust the electric mirror because they do brush up against the mirror so I don’t want to risk damaging the mirror. I had them initially mounted on the top of the mirrors but found the clamps a bit annoying as they blocked my view a bit. If you have the mirrors that fold in be sure to disable that feature or make sure the bar is in all the way or it will hit your door when they fold in. This does not occur when mounted on the top. The mirrors stay the way they are adjusted and do not move even at freeway speeds. I also have them in a vertical position rather than horizontal as it looks a little better on the truck (or at least I think they do). They are easy to remove and put on although I find I have to adjust them slightly each time because I can’t seem to get them back on in the same place. So far the clamps have not left any marks on the mirrors.

- Reviewed in Canada on October 9, 2024Verified PurchaseUsing these on my 2024 Silverado. The are very easy to put on and sturdy, but the mirrors are not very flat and there is some distortion especially on the passenger side mirror. Im sure i can live with it as I only need them 6 or 8 times a year
- Reviewed in Canada on September 12, 2024Verified PurchaseI felt compelled to leave a review after an 8500 km road trip up to the Yukon and Alaska with these mirrors. I only checked how tight they were once during the entire trip and that was on day two. The foam pads on these mirrors, have a sticky coating that helps them adhere to the truck. I have a second gen Tacoma and was nervous about how much space the mirrors had to grip onto with, but I just tilted my factory mirrors towards my blind spots and that provided a little extra room for the tow mirrors (see photos.)

- Reviewed in Canada on October 9, 2024Verified PurchaseThese mirrors clamp onto the existing mirrors on our car and provide better vision to help with blind spots.
As sturdy as these are mirrors, they do shake a little bit I drove truck for most of my life and even the big ones can shake a bit! These mirrors are very well made. If you are thinking of buying towing mirrors for a particular vehicle, make sure you add that into your search, as it will give the seller an idea of what to supply you with.
- Reviewed in Canada on June 5, 2024Verified PurchaseThese mirrors were easily affixed to the mirrors of a 2013 ML350 Blutec and made towing a 22'holiday trailer easy providing excellent views past the sides of the trailer. They were attached to the top of the vehicle's mirrors and once the temporary mirrors were adjusted in length and the thumbscrews tightened, they remained firmly attached and remained in position with little vibration/shaking. Security of the mirrors was checked a couple of times during a 3 day camping trip and the thumbscrews did not loosen. They were easily removed and left no visible indication that they had been mounted on the vehicle. Very pleased with this purchase.
- Reviewed in Canada on June 5, 2024Verified PurchaseWe had purchased these mirrors previously, but on a recent trip this year a transport truck came too close to the line and he blew off our driver's side mirror - we had to purchase a new pair as a result.
When we first got trailer mirrors, we tried one type and it bounced and was difficult to see as a result, these mirrors are very sturdy and do not bounce around and give a great field of vision.
- Reviewed in Canada on July 12, 2024Verified PurchaseUsing it for our 2017 Ford Explorer sport. It was nice and tight on the way and was sturdy enough in windy conditions. However, just before we could arrive at our destination, doing about 94km/hr on a 100km camping trip, the driver side mirror just flew off and landed in the middle of the road completely destroyed.
Note: I was stopping every 20 miles to make sure they were tight and didn't come loose. The major flaw this item has it that the clamps are just too tiny to go around the rounded metal mirror arms and against my cars flat mirror holder due to which they don't have a good grip and will definitely fall 100 percent. I had the old double armed strapped sleeve mirrors before, that lasted me for years before they got stolen one night. Now we're stuck at our camping trip with absolutely no way to return back without a wide mirror! I'm honestly surprised that this item has such high ratings.. even on our first trial, they kept on coming out if adjustments even in the slightest gust of wind. I purchased these in May and now it's 12th of July of course im out of my return window and stuck only a right side mirror which is extremely floppy as well. I would not recommend this item at all!

Verified PurchaseThese mirrors are an easy install, have a clear image , and are quite adjustable. I’ve used them for about 1200 miles so far, including dirt and gravel roads, and they are holding up very well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Does the job. Good design.
Verified PurchaseBought this pair for our 2014 Ford Expedition Limited that tows a 30-foot travel trailer. Found it to be a good choice. You clamp it to the top edge of the Ford mirror. I like the design and sturdiness of the clamps. I thought about leashing the extension mirror with string, in case it came loose, but felt the clamping was strong enough. After a few of hours of driving, there was no slippage at the clamps. As another reviewer noted, the clamp does press on the top edge of the movable mirror, however the movable mirror does adjust OK.
Adding these extension mirrors has made for a more-secure towing experience. We did a 1000-mile camping trip with no problem.
Update: I bought another pair, for 2020 Ford Expedition XLT which also tows a 30-foot travel trailer. Did I mention I really like the design? It's solid, and there are no loose parts to lose. Unlike on the 2014, on the 2020 the clamp does not press on the top edge of the movable mirror, which moves smoothly.
In case you are comparing to the K-Source 3891: I bought those first (I was in a hurry, and O'Reilly had them), and they worked, but were touchy to install, threatened the mirror housing paint, had lose-able parts, and never felt secure.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice mirrors
Verified PurchaseThe mirrors worked as intended and have very little vibration at higher speeds. I would give this product 5 stars if the attachment clamps were made of metal rather than plastic and it had some kind of safety lanyard in case the clamps worked loose and you wouldn't lose your mirror. Other than that, they appear to be of good quality.
