“Mila: Quando il Silenzio Parla” è una testimonianza cruda, commovente e necessaria. Racconta la storia vera — sebbene romanzata nei nomi e nei luoghi — di una bambina di sette anni improvvisamente allontanata dalla sua famiglia dopo aver denunciato un presunto abuso. Lior Savan è lo pseudonimo di un ricercatore, ingegnere e dirigente di azienda italiano con una lunga carriera internazionale nel campo della scienza, della tecnologia e dell’industria. Dopo aver potuto lavorare nella ricerca di base anche al fianco di premi Nobel e trascorso anni all’estero, ha deciso di tornare in Italia, mosso da un profondo senso di appartenenza e fiducia nel proprio Paese.

Questo libro non nasce come opera letteraria, ma come atto di testimonianza civile. Una risposta umana a un’ingiustizia che ha colpito da vicino la sua famiglia, e che ha messo a dura prova la sua fiducia nelle istituzioni. Lior non cerca vendetta, ma verità. Lior Savan is the pen name of an Italian writer with a long-standing career in science and industry, having held leadership roles in technology companies across Europe and the United States. With a background that began in high-energy physics and evolved into digital innovation and transformation, he has always nurtured a deep concern for ethical and social issues.

His first book, Mila. When the Silence Speaks, was born from a personal wound and became an act of civil resistance: the documented and moving account of a little girl forgotten by a system that was supposed to protect her.
