    Cyberpower CST1400S UPS bought over 10 years that we've been using for the AV equipment (TV, sound system, consoles, etc). Had a power outage and after about 20 minutes went to see how the UPS's were doing and this one was off, the others were fine.

    Wasn't sure if it was the battery or something else, so waited about a day after the power came back on and unplugged the UPS to see what was going on. There was a minimal load and could see the run time remaining quickly dropping and within 20-30 seconds it turned off. So yeah it's the batteries.

    Looked in the manual and the replacement battery part # is RXB1280X2B. Web search shows it being a little pricey, almost enough to consider getting another UPS. But noticed reviews saying you don't need that as you can just replace the batteries and use the same adapter. The adapter has 2 wires that connect the batteries in series, and a connector so you can plug it into the UPS.

    Pulled the batteries out (there are 2 screws on the bottom under the front panel, remove those and then slide the panel down and it will come off) and saw they were HR1234W batteries. Did a search for those and found these batteries for a good price. I checked the size measurements with a caliper and they matched perfectly.

    They arrived yesterday in great shape. They were each in their own little boxes, and both in a larger box with foam padding on the sides. The corners look to be well protected.

    Installing the new batteries is fairly foolproof, disconnect the old batteries from the adapter and connect up the new ones, just follow the polarity and you'll be fine. Used the same tape that was on the original batteries (one side has the tab so you can pull them out) plus added some clear packing tape for extra strength to hold them securely to the adapter. It slide back into the UPS battery opening no problems at all.

    Let it charge overnight (was still using the TV, etc last night) and then unplugged the UPS and it's working like new again, reporting over 2 hour run time on the same load after letting it run for about a minute.

    Used the KONNWEI KW208 battery tester on both of the old batteries (check -> out-of-vehicle, AGM flat plate -> CA -> 130A) and one of the batteries was shot, 120 mOhm and 20A, and the other was 16 mOhm and 140A so still going strong. I'll keep it for any other possible use.

    Also tested these batteries when I opened them, forgot to write down the readings but they both measured great.

    I'll update this review if these batteries fail early or give any other issues.
