Perfect Switches for Danby Microwave!

Perfect Switches for Danby Microwave!
Well, if you¡¯re reading this review, you¡¯re probably having problems with your microwave. In my case, every time I opened the door to my Danby microwave, it would blow the circuit breaker. These 3 switches are all connected to the door mechanism. After replacing them with these, no more problems. For a $15 investment, I saved the cost of a brand new microwave. Needless to say, I¡¯m very happy with them. They work great and get a thumbs up.

This is a full set of door switches for a Kenmore microwave oven. You do not need to buy the V16-FD62 and V16-FD63 separately at an exorbitant price. Just get this set and replace them all.

Typically, the problem is that one of them starts malfunctioning, and the circuit breaker gets tripped when the door is open/closed. If you are replacing one of the witches, you might as well replace them all. This is the second time in 12 years that I have to replace the door switches in my microwave.

Good quality product. Build is solid. The installation part was a bit tricky. The marking on the switches are reversed than what I had on my microwave. I had it figured it out the hard way. Overall good product that worked with my Hamilton Beach microwave.

Even if you have no experience at all it¡¯s pretty straightforward. 3/10 difficulty if it helps anyone .

This deals with Panasonic NN-SG656W microwave (6 yrs old). I think one of the 3 switches was sticky and blew the fuse within. After cover removal, there's printed recommendation that if the fuse blows, to replace all 3 switches. Also prior, we notice the door not easily releasing, indicating the cams & levers for the switches may not be syncronized. Used an auto 20 Amp fuse until the ceramic shielded fuse and the 3 switches arrive. Meanwhile the microwave worked fine. The new switches arrived in half of the estimated 12 days. They are duplicates to the original. They were easy to install. It's been 9 days since replacement and the microwave is working well and the door opens smoothly.

I replaced the three door switches in a Kenmore Microwave oven (Model NO. 721.69122010). It was the normally open bottom switch that went bad. It operates off the door latch and takes a beating when the door closes. Make sure you unplug the microwave first and then after removing the case cover discharge the big capacitor for the magnetron. Use a long screwdriver with an insulated handle. Short across the capacitor leads and to the case to make sure the capacitor has no charge before sticking your hands in the area of the door switches. The capacitor is in the same area and if its bleeder resistor is burned out or broken the capacitor won't bleed down. It will bite badly if you touch it and it still has a charge. Take a picture of each of the three door switches before removing so you can put the wires back on the terminals correctly. Replace one switch at a time. Be careful with the plastic retaining clips. They won't flex much and will break easily. There is a trick to removing and reinstalling each switch. There is a little plastic post that extends in the hole in one corner of each switch. Carefully lift the front retaining clip on the switch just enough to slide it out slightly swing it down and out and pull it off the post. It's important to not break the post. The removing and installation of each of the three switches is not identical but similar. It's tricky and delicate but can be done without breaking any clips or posts. Install them in reverse order. Do the switches one at a time. It took me about 45 minutes.

These worked perfect for our microwave. Replaces all 3 since it was apart already and it works like new. Good product so far. Build quality mirrors the OEM parts and feels like they will stand the trat of time. Price was right and they arrived quickly.

I ordered the (2 Normally Open and 1 Normally Close) Brand: Yoiilnz three pack and replaced all three switches in my friend's microwave oven. His oven only needed the normally closed switch (The Monitor Switch) in their Frigidaire by Electrolux microwave model FFMV164LSA. These new switches installed without issue, and everything now works as designed. The switches were delivered in two days and appear identical to the original other than color of the plastic. The problem he was having was that as soon as he hit the start button to heat something up it would trip the house circuit breaker. While doing research on the issue the most common cause reported was a broken (Stuck in On position) middle (Monitor switch). That is exactly what I found on his unit. With the monitoring switch in an always on state it causes a direct short which then trips the circuit breaker. I can recommend these aftermarket switches instead of spending 10 times as much for OEM.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of my best Â鶹Çø purchases!
Reviewed in the United States on December 20, 2020

I have no idea why I am rating the sheerness and warmth of these electronic microwave switches, but since everything else was 5 stars, here's these too.
The microwave threw the breaker and refused to cook my Ramen. Utilizing the my enhanced investigative skills, I located and viewed several YouTube videos related to this issue. Long and short of it, I have learned that there are three (3!) switches in the door latch area of my (mass produced under many different brands) built-in microwave/stove fan. I was further able to determine that I only needed to replace the middle switch (the one that is wired opposite of the other two) in order to resume my "Ramenicity."
When I went searching for said switch, I found that this one little switch retails for $23+. I was shocked. Then I turned to Â鶹Çø, the purveyor of all that is available, occasionally within two days. Lo and behold, I found this package with all three switches (the bad one that had to be replaced, plus the two that were in great working order) and all three of them are available for less than half of the price of the one switch!
There was a moment of great angst as I pondered whether to buy three switches from a lesser known supplier instead of one switch from a parts house.
Knowing from my prior work in the auto parts industry that almost all wiring and switches for your cars and trucks come from the same place and have the (brand)names applied after manufacture, I decided to gamble on it. Receiving the three switches, I returned to the YouTube and looked for videos on the actual procedure. Lo and behold, I found one!
Suffice it to say the operation went off without a hitch, and the microwave works again. I did replace all three switches since I had all three replacements, on the off chance that one of the others might be close to going out. (And honestly, what was I going to do with those switches anyway?)

Gentlemen, and ladies, this is a simple procedure that anyone can do. The videos are explicit, and the instructions simple. These switches so far have been outstanding! I cannot recommend them enough in order for you to get your Ramenicity back like I did.
