    consigliato.

I was looking forward to receiving this book. It looked as though it would provide quite an indepth look into Power BI, and offer solutions to a wide range of scenarios. I've only had it for a couple of days, but of the sections I've read so far, I'm a little disappointed. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that as I delve further into it, my opinion may change. I was hoping for a book similar to the excellent PowerPivot & Power BI book by Rob Collie and Avi Singh, but with more emphasis on Power BI. I would suggest that prospective buyers of the book try and get a good look at the content before purchasing, so you can make an objective decision as to whether this (rather expensive) book is worth the money.

Simply put, this is a wonderful book. I am an intermediate Power BI user, and I am basically reading it cover to cover because I don't want to miss a detail. I have found so many delightful gems within the pages. The author not only presents tactics for utilizing Power BI, but also strategy for overall product usage that will benefit my clients tremendously in the simplicity, efficiency, elegance, and relevancy of the reports and solutions that I am enabled to create. A huge thank you to the author for this great resource!
